if somebody takes the Internet seriously then they need to turn in their common sense card right now.

Not a big fan of the new Civic Si... I'm a big Honda fanboy though, and love my 95 Civic Hatchback. That being said I also love my BRZ. FWD, RWD... Now need AWD, lol.

I gotta say, not a decision I personally understand, but I did daily a track-suspension Silvia for a few years there, so I suppose I'm used to a different level of utility. But it's worth noting my daily is back to being a Honda Accord-- It does make for good utility and comfort, even if it's quite old now.

I honestly think you did yourself a disservice not spending more time getting used to the FR handling model-- you say the Civic has "better feel", but after lots of FWD cars, you jumped into a RWD one only very briefly. Takes a lot longer than a month to learn these things!

Either way, thanks for coming along. And taking the "new car premium" off a car for someone who wants to stay.

Well I have to eat some crow here. I decided to grab me a BRZ Limited after all. I'll have it soon.

While I was really not liking several things about the BRZ, I realized that its particular set of issues is the most acceptable for the money and performance involved. And I miss it. The Si had issues worse than the BRZ. So I decided to stop chasing perfection and go back to the BRZ. I won't get more into it than that, and I'd appreciate if you guys didn't give me a hard time, its just a journey I had to go on, but I'll be back in the club soon. Not very long at all. It's amazing what massive amounts of overtime can accomplish while your single with no kids.

I traded in my 2011 Civic Si Sedan (FA5) on a BRZ and haven't looked back. I would have kept my Si if the twins didn't come out. To me the Si the best compromise Sporty/Economy/Price/Fuel/Insurance. I'm probably one of the few who didn't like the FA5 Si though, I enjoyed my 2005 Si (EP3) much more.

Sometimes it just takes first-hand experience. We've all been there. While obviously not the best decision financially, at least you're now in a car you like and appreciate. Welcome back!

I traded my 09 Si sedan for my BRZ. There's no compairison. Yeah they're both really fun little cars that you can make fast on the track easy and the Si is a little more practical, but there is no way in hell I would choose the Si over the twins. I sure as hell wouldn't choose the 13. I do wish I could have kept my 8th gen and still have my BRZ. It was such a fun car and VTec is awesome

He didn't even know the Civic SI required premium...don't think he knows what VTEC is.
