Just so you know, don't make the same mistake I did. For waffle weave drying towels, get a couple small ones instead of one huge one. I got the one made for trucks and have to be really careful it doesn't touch the ground while I'm washing. Love how well it dries, though!

Quality waffle weaves like they sell at the Rag Company are worth the cost. Yes they do a great job drying your car and they are lint free. Cheap waffle weaves made in China will not do as good of a job.

Consider using this Meguiar's Formulated "Black Wax" [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G6207-Black-Wax-Paste/dp/B009OBW29S/ref=sr_1_36?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1407648514&sr =1-36"]Amazon.com: Meguiar's G6207 Black Wax Paste - 7 oz.: Automotive[/ame]

Uses a lot of polishing oils to fill in scratches, really helps on the bumper and hood area that takes a lot of hits and small scratches. I know I have to wax the front bumper of my GBS color to fill in all the smaller dings.

A regular chamois will drag and be too heavy on the thin paint. The waffle weave is the lightest and least abraisive way to absorb water if you use it right (make sure the towel is damp).

If the place you are ordering from does not include where the supplies and manufacturing takes place do not order from them.

The overwhelming majority of cheap towels source and manufacture in China, avoid these, the best you will likely find are sourced and made in South Korea or Germany. The Rag Company and Microfiber Tech are good alternatives for those that do not want to spend quite a bit.

For the absolutely best in my opinion Microfiber Madness cannot be beat. CarPro carries them.

I believe the majority of MF towels from The Rag Company are from South Korea. However, there are some that are sourced from china as well. Some of the towels have the origin stated in the description while some do not. It's key to familiarize yourself with the difference between good quality and bad quality towels. Often times you can tell a cheap towel from a goodnone just by looking at it.

Obsidiank is right...this is the method I would use and have used for single bucket. Don't use 2 or 3 buckets...unless the 2nd bucket is for dirty towels and 3rd bucket is for wheels and tires.

I stopped the 1 bucket method and went straight to waterless wash. I use similar to what Obsidiank mentioned of the Garry Dean method. I use 2 to 3 towels per car and just fold and down sections with one pass. I just spray alot of waterless solution on the panels and wipe down and then another towel to dry.

Yep a simple look and feel, it shouldn't feel cheap. I shudder at those that trust cheaper towels from Autozone and even the Sam's Club/Costco towels on paint especially the paint as soft as it is on this car.

Another tip is the tag. Never buy a towel with a tag sewn on.

Tags are the devil in disguise. A helpful tip is to also glide the towel across your palm very very lightly. If it catches, chances are it's a bad towel. I only buy towels from the rag company and stay fresh as they are some of the best I've used and reasonably cheap.

Yep Rag Company and Microfiber Tech are great places for bulk type orders. Also if you are a member of the Detailer's Club over at Autoality, it gladly makes up it's membership fee over time and you can get towels extremely cheap.

You should try the monster super plush towel from Stay Fresh Car Care. Super smooth and thick. Even their smaller towels are a pretty high GSM.
