Gotcha. Not that it makes a difference, they are still awesome. Just thought I would ask..

Not entirely true. They will do the cutouts on 18x8.5 but can't do them on 18x9.5 due to the offset.

Yeah I know the site says you can get it done, but trust me I ordered them with machining and after a month of waiting was told that they cant do the machining on the 18x9.5 due to the offset...when someone actually purchases a set with machining in 18x9.5 I'll believe it, but until then, there is no evidence proving they exist.

Here's mine. I got the ones with cutouts in 19s, it's called SP Spec.

Yeah the 19's I've actually seen in person with machining...it's just a shame that 18x9.5 with machining doesn't exist...secretly i am hoping someone will prove me wrong.

The wheels you see with the side cuts are called SP Spec. They only come in one color, and cost more money for that. You can get them on almost every size. However Mackin does not normally stock these, so if you see them, they would have been special ordered. Not very common.

For instance...

18x8.5/9.5 57 Xtreme - Matte Graphite - $1858 MSRP

18x8.5/9.5 57 Xtreme - SP Spec (with cuts) - $2228 MSRP

Thank you for your reply. :-]

I choose the 18, because with a car with only this much power it is more than "a little" performance loss. Also I think the car looks better with the 18's, the 19's just look too big.

Ok, I have a friend at Mackin and here is the official deal.

The SP is currently made in the 19's and 5x100.

They currently "offer it" in 18 from Japan but it is not being produced in 5x100. If someone orders 10 sets they will make them.

So the answer is yes they are possible in 18, but you need 9 friends to order them with you to get them.

Thanks. I don't have 9 friends willing to drop $2,000 on 18's. haha
