p.s. if you guys need any further proof that he is a troll, just look at his latest post in the edlebrock thread. I won't feed the troll any more.

If I thought he was just a troll I would have ignored him by now. He truely believes that he is so much smarter and knows more than anybody. This means he spreads misinformation at an alarming rate. Any of us can make a mistake but when presented with proof we correct it. He just keeps spewing junk and unfortunately some will believe him and can destroy their car or worse.

Want a good read just start at post #44 here:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...=116722&page=4

I can not sit back and let him give horrible advice without at least attempting to counter it.

Hmm, everyone in the world knows that Subaru variable cam timing system was developed for them by Porsche. Well, except you of course.

That's ridiculous. Michelin itself says the Supersports lineup will be completely replaced by the 4s.

Yep they bought some tech for one very specific engine. That does not mean all the systems are from Porshe nor that the current system had anything to do with it. I already stated I stood corrected on that one system in that one engine so this ploy is powerless against me. Although I stil have seen no confirmation that they even got that one system for that one engine from Porshe beyond a brief mention in a Wikipedia entry and that Australian magazine article you linked. Neither is exactly a confirmed source but I will accept being corrected based on the fact I can not disprove it. At least until I find the actual Subaru write up that states they developed the new system.
