REALLY liking the difference the bar makes...

Overall, a "tighter" feel in the steering wheel... the minor "back and forth" I felt via the steering wheel -- even on pretty level roads -- is gone.

I'm feeling quite a bit of difference (IMHO) when driving over washboard roads or small bumps.

Thanks GS!
Sorry to bring up a somewhat old thread, but I was planning on buying a GS strut bar for the exact reason mentioned above. Could you (or anyone for that matter) elaborate or second that the GS bar really makes that difference in steering?

I second it, but I won't elaborate. Get it. You'll definitely feel the difference.

It is a subtle difference. If you measure your mod investment by "how much" improvement you get... you might not feel this is a reasonable mod price.

I'm a decent driver... pretty in-tune with what I drive (or ride), so I noticed the difference during first test drive.. but again... nothing earth-shattering... just "a bit better...."

Good luck with your decision.

I feel a bit more planted on highway on-ramps. More stable. More balanced.

In my experience the GS bar makes no difference to steering. As I have posted elsewhere in these forums I do not know if there is an objective improvement in performance. That is, I don't race on the road and my laps times vary too much to attribute any benefit to the bar.
BUT subjectively I noticed an immediate improvement in front end feel after having it fitted.(I have bumpy roads around home.) For me a worthwhile addition. As mentioned above, more planted, less crashy, tighter front end.

@GrimmSpeed with all the buzz over the new power blocks on the forums I did some quick measuring and it doesn't look like the strut bar will still fit with the blocks installed. So my question is if I were able to space the strut bar up to clear the manifold, other than extra load on the studs, would there be any issues to look out for?

Like you said, extra load on the studs would be my concern. Also, you may need longer studs in order to use a spacer, but it'll depend on the spacer. Let us know either way!

Thinking about buying one - after more than a year since release, has anyone ran into issues that I should be aware of?

Any updated reviews / impressions would be awesome

Install is dead simple, just don't overtorque the nuts and you're good to go
