That’s the problem. It’s still married to his old car and he no longer has it.

I'm on OFT OTS stage 1 91 octane tune and I was doing some free revving for my buddy the other day with the car in neutral. I noticed that instead of revving up to 7k redline it stopped at ~5.5k and bounced off a limiter there.
It was acting like some sort of launch control or a rev limiter at 5.5k instead of actual redline. Got treated to a nice exhaust pop every time it bounced off it. Anyone else notice this when free revving?

Didn't realize it was enabled by default. I haven't edited the tune at all.

That's about the easiest change to make, open your tune file in romraider, then look at your rev limit, subract what you want your launch control RPM to be from the rev limit and set that as your LC delta. Upload the tune to the OFT, then flash the car.

Thanks. Good to know.
I gotta say it did sound badass bouncing off the "limiter" at 5500 and producing a loud ass exhaust pop each time. Sounded aggressive as hell. I guess nice to know it's there in case I ever want to fuck with someone at at red light, or make some nice music in a parking garage.

OFT launch control rev limit works purely of vehicle speed, below detection speed 6mph is initial setting rpm limited to launch limit, above launch detection speed full rpm available |

@Lococholo84 I can unlock OFT on bench (and bench flash ECU) but you would need to send it to me,
think the OFT guys charge $250 plus postage , I think they basically bin it and send you new one |
