So... Don Valley North Toyota has already delivered 4 FR-S out, 2 on Wednesday and 2 on Thursday.

Awesome car, drove it home last night.

when did you guys pre-order yours? I put my deposit down back in March.

mine is still not in even though my dealership already got 2 cars in that were sold to customers.

So i'm wondering what the rationale is for car distribution.

They seemed to be extremely backed up gettings the cars onto the train from port. I ordered mine months ago but was told a few days ago the expected delivery date was the 25th. I got lucky though and they got it on the train today so I am now supposed to see it on the 15th. I live in Alberta though so Im not sure what the time frame would be for them getting to Ontario.

Myself and another person ordered from the same dealership in the GTA and we were told 2 weeks last Friday

Ordered last September, car has been in town (across town) for a week, still no word on delivery. Was asked 2 days ago if I wanted the 'upgraded' sound system (Bespoke, I assume, as they had no details), declined, as reading the various posts here indicated substandard performance for a whopping $845.00 upgrade cost. No final cost given, no BoS.
Guess I should have ordered much earlier from another dealer... bloody disappointing communication, to say the least.

Mine was on rail for almost 4 weeks. One was the week of the strike, i have heared that they are not moving fast right now. It just got to toronto today, dealer said he will try and have it for me by the end of next week.

Really? seriously hope we can both get ours on the 15th then. 16th would be fine by me though.. Have mine booked for 23rd at auto obsessed in edm for full detail and opti coat. Also talked to rd toyota today and opted for full clearbra, its 699, not bad i thought. Does full bumper as well.. Countdowns on finally!

I was concerned about that, but from what I have been reading online the backlog from the strike is not really an issue anymore. That sucks that you had to wait so long, what dealer did you order from?
