The oil cooler was mounted directly in front of the intercooler, closer to the passenger side, and was a mishimoto unit.

Ok cool. That's kinda what I was thinking. I ditched the ac so I was debating where to put it.

They were! All parts are picked up either in the Starquest, 77 Corolla sportback or a 88 GTI...while theres a risk the parts may not make it back the same day without a tow trucks assistance..they get alittle lesson on history.

Ok guys so the kit you saw Jesse and Delicious post on Instagram was mine. I just got back from California yesterday afternoon and by the time I got done unloading the car and back on a lift at my shop I was ready to sleep. I have the dynos and all the stuff everyone wants to see etc. I will post them later today but first I need to run out to JDL and pick up a new intake filter (GTX2863R is HUNGRY, collapsed the K&N Filter). Anyway this baby turbo in my opinion is the equivalent to the tiny gun Will Smith had in Men in Black (tiny form, big impact). It may even be safe to say that it might become the new favorite for people once they realize that your average enthusiast or even serious tuner does not need a big turbo. I originally went small with the GTX2867R and then at the last minute decided to go even smaller with the GTX2863R, I think it was a good choice.

In all the car made 350whp and 324 ft/lbs tq. on a very conservative tune E85 (stock engine so we can't get too crazy with timing). The numbers are all consistent and the car is now 100% speed density. The kit is clearly able to make more power with just a bit of timing alone but myself and Bill decided this was enough for the engines safety. Funniest part is that I am only using 20% dc on the port injectors lol (1000cc). Anyway I need to go get the car off the lift and head out here soon. Just thought I would give an update.

Great results.

I agree that this is the ideal turbo for street. I went back and forth between the 63 and 67r. I ordered it with the 63 then while jdl were piecing it together I asked to change to a 67. Then while my kit was in transit, I decided to go back to the 63. Now I have both sitting here!

The person I got the 63 from agreed to swap with my 67. On the one hand I'm tempted to run both at the dyno to get some actual comparisons. But I'm not sure I care enough about that data to have to buy the second turbo and then sell it.

Your results reassure me that the 63 is the right choice.

Youre using 0.64 a/r turbine housing I assume?

I'm hoping to have my same setup tuned in a few weeks, but with a 0.86.
Will be good to compare (assuming you have the 0.64)

I need some advice. How are the stock turbo's in this kit. I see everyone always upgrading to the Garrett Turbo option. I know they are the best, but My goals are 275-300 on 91 and 350ish on E85 (stock internals). I understand the standard turbo is a Precision Turbo.
