jajaja...

25,900 at least for the Premium.

The only thing that would make the BRZ a better value is time. Time for the VIP and buying at invoice to happen.

Anyone who considers Subaru and Scion having pricing in contract with one another needs to remember that such back door deals are illegal in the corporate world.

I'm not sure its collusion, considering its a joint venture between the two companies. Plus given that Toyota owns a stake in Subaru.

I don't actually know the law on this, but it seems more complex than the typical antitrust law.

I'm not really sure why people keep wanting to compare the BRZ with a WRX. IMHO, it's silly. The WRX is a sooped up version of an econobox. The BRZ is a dedicated sports (sporty, take your pick) car that was designed from the ground up. You just can't compare the two and say that the BRZ is over priced because it's now more expensive than the WRX.

Like I said on the other thread. It's seems the car mags were pretty much right on with regards to the price of these cars. So it's really not much of a surprise. Now the "real" make it or break it is if the dealerships are going to try to rip people off and price these things above MSRP.

Couldn't agree more. It's pretty clear after this pricing announcement who was actually serious about buying the car in the first place. More people that drop, sooner I get mine. Not sorry to see anyone go

I would put money on that being the actual price. It's the same format as all scion pricing announcements and I deal with that stuff daily at work.

The two people ahead of me in line are on this site, not expecting them to drop out, but I guess anything is possible

That is why the poster you quotes said: "and without Subaru VIP pricing ... and/or 0.9% financing ... this will force me to keep lurking for a while..."
