situation A
Kid accidentally gets shot, crazy girlfriend practically gets away with murder, and no one ever finds out it is a set up.

situation b
kid runs, gets into a car accident, get flown to a hospital, exposes ex girlfriend for the liar she is, she serves time, he lives, justice served.

situation c
perfect world, kid never runs, in the heat of the moment he remembers your training from this forum, he doesn't get shot, girlfriend goes to jail forever, city awards him a turbo kit for his bravery... lol

He knew long ahead of time that his girlfriend was crazy before any of this had happened, trust me I've had my fair share of crazy bitches. He could have just put the pieces together when he just so happened to get pulled over in his situation.
How well do you know this guy?

The only person in danger in that situation is me, and I will keep it that way and let the officers arrest me and get me in custody.

The battle will be fought in the courtroom, where it belongs

running is a decision based on the circumstances and recent events.

when you get pulled over and tell you have been set up depending on the circumstances and the people involved

can you tell how experienced an officer is just by looking at him?
lets say he accidentally moved his eyes a certain way and the cop interpreted as him thinking about being insubordinate. The cop pulls his gun and what if he freaked out and his hands came off the wheel as a natural reaction to having his life threatened and the cop saw him releasing his hands as an attempt to grab the gun that never existed in the first place. bam hes dead.

dead people cant settle anything in court and maybe thats what his ex girlfriend was hoping.

i dont, lets say you have a crazy girl friend, she hears you cheated on you and slashes your tires. would you really be surprised she acted like that from what she heard? a guy knows when hes dating a crazy person... most of them dont do the smart thing and leave ahead of time though. this thread is a perfect example of a guy who should have left her a long time ago and he would have never been in this situation in the first place...

Or maybe he is the crazy one and she's not?

You forgot the first part of the story, where he drives with a suspended license.
This is the one thing, that if changed, would cause a zero percent chance of any of that happening.

If he called a friend to drive him, none of this would have happened. The girlfriend would benefit nothing and most likely say "never mind don't come" least she be found out in her plot.

Also, we are assuming that what this guy is telling us is the truth.
Whats not to say he just went on a joyride, got pulled over, then ran because his license was suspended from doing something stupid before.

We are putting a lot of faith in whats put on the internet. People claim to have cancer on reddit, and they would get thousands of dollars in donations only to be defrauded later.

License was suspended, he was pulled over, there was a police chase and he crashed.

Those are the only facts we know for sure, and IMO it makes his credibility take a big hit right there.

trust me that's the first thing i thought of. Maybe none of this is our business anyways, and I was just posting to see how far people would take this if i had made a few comments. The only thing I'm curious about is the final ruling with all evidence on the table. The people involved know way more than we do about the situation. The interwebz is a crazy place... i just make it fun for myself...

I see it is useless to talk senses into some people. None of my business anyway.
