BTW, took the car last night for the strip. Made 3 runs. Was trying her out, shakedown. It ran a best of 11.1@210km/hr (miss-shifted 5th). The last run, it broke an axle.

Gonna get her fixed up and shoot for some quicker times soon

what kind of axle is it? stock or something else?

glad to see it handle that much power for a bit if it was stock.

Must of been spinning like a beast only trapping 130 with all that power. Fix the rear and put a tire on it and run 9's!

Don't think this power in enough for 9s. As you said, it needs better traction but also longer ratio and at least 750whp.

Top FT86 tuners like Dynosty and Accelerated Performance ran high 10s and low 11s with around the same HP, given that this run was actually on 1.4bar and not 1.6bar like the dyno

lol you think a 2700lb car needs 750rwhp to run 9's? 2700lbs and 600rwhp will run 9's all day.

I'm sorry sir, but I have to disagree. This is not an automatic American muscle car with a high rev stall convertor. It's a manual one with many mechanical challenges and putting the power to the ground is very tricky. You have 3 cars with roughly the same power in front of you that couldn't hit 9s (us, accelerated performance, Dynosty). I will be very pleased if I see you build one that does

The Dynosty car was making 409rwhp and trapped 128mph which is good enough for a 10.7 ET. Add another 150rwhp and it should be able to tap into 9's. You are right though, the power curve is different than many cars and it will need a big(ish) turbo to make that power, which will be semi-peaky. Traction is the big fight with this car.
