I'm waiting for a reply on which bulbs it uses specifically.

You guys are free to bombard him with similar questions as well!

I prefer DD as well since I've purchase my side mirrors from them. Looking at replacing my Phastek Performance turn signal LEDs with DD's as well. I'm just trying to help out anyone that might want to give projectors a try. I like projects and the only reason I'm considering these is because they're about half the price of how I want my HID fog setup to be with DD. Right now the biggest issue with Nigel's is confirming how easily these install, learning what's needed. With DD's everything is there, ready to go.

Making different life choices and trying to save money, but I'll probably end up with DD at this pace. They're awesome! Just hard because it's about $350 for what I want through them and this is less than half the price for something similar.

Yeah the projector fogs look nice, my issue lies with Nigel and his customer service.
I would venture to say they would be a good choice from the right vendor

Just received a text message from DD that more order has shipped! Got to love the customer service

That's hawt! Yeah, super reasonable and awesome guys! I really want halo rings with mine, as well as yellow HIDs, so of course my options are the most expensive since the white CCFL ring is the only continuous light. Oh wellz.

This looks interesting. I'd like some brighter fogs.

Finally some answers from Nigel:

Hey Chano,

There is two cover.

The outer cover is plastic like any oem car headlight / fog light

Inside there is a projector lens and I am asking the factory if they are glass or plastic as well.
Then:
Quote:
Hello,

H3 bulbs.

They are not glass
Plastic projectors? Hmmmm.... I prefer shining HIDs through glass, so I'll probably just stick with DD's kit.

I will pass if they are plastic as well, and will just go with the glass hids without projectors ><

We will have Stage 3 fog lights soon (1800 Lumens / 80 watt LEDs)

Also, we have COB style rings, which have no breaks and are the brightest option available.

Let me know if you need more information on them, we are continuously updating the site with more pictures and information

I will wait for this! I actually do use my fog lights in rain or snow only, so having the brightest, most effective color is a priority for me. I want them in yellow. Halo rings are just a ricer bonus since I'll tap them into my DRL. Be like, "Hey guys... I got fog lights... wanna see what they do? BLAM! Hit 'em with that Stage 3 heat!"

So I'm having to REALLY think about this... In Alaska, most every fog light gets cracked because they lay gravel on the roads for the winter. On my 2011 WRX my fogs cracked right away and most 2011+ WRX/STI owners with fogs have had cracks. This is because of the glass material.

However, my BRZ fogs look good still because they're made of plastic. I'm debating being a guinea pig for Nigel's fog lights just to see what one can get away with concerning the output and such. This will most likely be my last year in Alaska, and knowing what I know about Alaska versus fog lights, it might behoove me to stick with plastic until I leave.

First World Problems.
