You're making me laugh over here calling other people amateurs because you graduated from novice class in HPDE. I had no idea you were a professional, so I take back everything I said. Clearly in the presence of greatness here.

At the end of the day, it's totally fine to disagree with someone and offer up a differing opinion. Just don't need to be a butthead about it. Especially if you're going to use lines like "The adults here..."
So you've never taken a stock brake setup to AMP, Road Atlanta, or AMS. Got it.

It's not disagreeing with someone. It's calling out ignorance.

I've done an HPDE event twice in my life as an instructor. Feel free to come to the Porche Experience Center in Atlanta and request me by username in your registration and I'll take you out on our track to show you proper braking techniques that will overload the stock FRS/BRZ system.

They have stock brake twins at "The Porche Experience Center" in Atlanta?
Who knew!

Sounds much more fun than "The Porsche Experience Center.
They only have Porsche's.

You realize your hostility isn't helping you right?

Plenty of people track their cars here at COTA with stock calipers. They just change the rotors, pads, and fluid. And the more serious usually upgrade to an AP Racing kit and outright skip the Brembos. A few guys in the local group track with their Brembo kits but, like a dedicated kit, can't do anything too vigorous or long.

People who....I don't know, live in the Atlanta area probably go to road Atlanta, Atlanta Motorsports Park, and Atlanta Motor Speedway regularly.

Nothing like doing 130+ crossing the finish line of AMS and braking hard on stock brakes to make the turn in, lol.
As has already been pointed out. FRS/BRZ's in SCCA T4 must run stock calipers and OE equivalent rotors. They can run brake ducts but that is it. Here is one of a few build threads. Fade isn't an issue, consumables are.

My goodness, you've instructed at an HPDE not once, but TWICE?!?!?!

And it definitely is being rude when disagreeing with someone. You could have said "In my experience, I've found brake fade on stock calipers so I prefer monoblocks." But you decided to add in "LOL, you must be a noob" and "The adults here who actually track their cars". You've attempted to turn a discussion into a boy-parts-swinging-contest.

I appreciate your opinion, and my opinion differs based on my 8 years of driving the twins.

I have never met an instructor with this attitude, I have also never met an instructor who thinks speed is the basis for moving people up in run groups. It is usually things like competency and awareness, "is this guy going to go off and spray debris all over the track and cause stoppages." I was just talking to an instructor about this yesterday. Otherwise you would never see an NA Miata in advanced groups

What do they mean. Did I not comprehend what was typed?

Pretty sure the joke I made was that they keeps spouting off about all these other cars that aren't the twins like they can be compared somehow when it comes to brake fade.

And that he misspelt Porsche. Even though they work there.

Or do they just want me to keep reading this shit show for the lolz.
