Hahaha. Mine took the trip down from Seattle which put almost 300 miles the first weekend and then its only driven to go to work and to the car wash so about 60 miles per day. Weekends are dedicated to the family since I work so much and we can't all fit in the FR-S Lol

6 people! Driver, passenger, two in the back, two in the trunk. You might be scraping at that point though.

So the local Scion Dealer couldn't handle the removal and reinstallation and deferred it to a local body shop. I hope no one else on here has to go through this. I'm a bit out of my element here since I typically don't let anyone work on my cars. I am terrified that I will get the car back with all kinds of swirls from a buffer or something. I did stop by the body shop on my way home and there was little progress in 2 days. Only the rear lip spoiler was reinstalled so far and 1 side skirt was off the car. I was told I'd get the car back on Friday but at this rate I am not counting on it. On a positive note though the body technician doing the work was talking about how the previous install was very poor and that they didn't even read the instructions which means this guy did. Whew, some relief but still concerned about the paint on the car and so was he.

I miss my car. Won't have it back until Monday. Turning out to be a major project. Rather have them take the time to get it right than rush it.

Changed my mind on Opti Coat and since I was in Seattle I stopped in at Griot's Garage and went nuts. Can't wait to get my car back and use this stuff!

I painted the emblems on my Mazda 6 and they were trashed in 6 months. All it takes is a threat of snow and they lay down lava rock on the road and that shit gets airborne. I'm already dreading winter.
