So Eibach has a kit that has the springs and sway bars (82105.880). I was thinking about that to reduce body roll even more. I do like doing autocross events, but this is my daily driver and I'm very concerned about making the ride too stiff. From reading the entire thread, sounds like the springs help handling overall and give a nice stance. I'm now not sure if I should just go with the springs or still opt for the Springs and Sway bar kit.
Does anyone have any feed back regarding how the sway bars affect the ride or do they really only limit body roll? |

Heads up for anyone on the fence about getting some eibachs. MassDrop is having a group buy for a set of the Pro-kits, if 15 (6 more people than currently committing) people end up promising to order it, the price is sub-$200. You don't even have to commit until it hits that price either.
https://www.massdrop.com/buy/eibach-pro-kit-springs Personally, I'm willing to try them out at that price, but not really looking to spend more than that. haha. (I can delete this if the mods don't like having an external link) |

there's $14 shipping for the massdrop. would be super hot if it was free shipping. i was gonna get them from rallysportdirect for $223 (with free shipping) but i'm gonna do this massdrop buy.
question though, who's selling it, massdrop or a vendor using massdrop? EDIT: I'm now NOT gonna do it, on the final checkout page they were charging me tax (i'm in CA). so rallysportdirect is still the better buy for me. |

My mind is telling me to go with the pro-kit, but my heart is telling me to get the sportlines. Anyway, are the wheel gaps in the front and rear the same? On some pics it seems like it, but on others it seems like the rear is a bit higher. I dont know if it varies by car. My OCD would kill me if it were uneven that is the only thing holding me back from purchasing these.

Pros ride abit better then sport like IMO I rode in both. Now when I had pros on the gap was close enough to not bother me at least and I'm pretty damned OCD lol. It takes a week for them to settle in though for sure.

Sport line still good don't get me wrong at all. But you can feel the harsher stuff bit more then with pros. As a guess is say ause your down lower on stock strut more and loss of stroke.
I'm on neither now I'm on kws

I'm about to buy the pro kit. I was wondering what do people with this kit combine it with for alignment? Will i need LCA, bolts, etc for alignment? Or is the drop mild enough to not worry about it. Thanks

No LCA, bolts, etc needed, but since you will need an alignment afterwards, I do recommend going with some camber bolts up front while you're in there.

You probably don't need them unless you want specific camber numbers. I just recently ordered the pro-kit as well as control arms and camber bolts since I have after market wheels and want to run a certain amount of camber. If you don't want to spend the money on rear lower control arms, I would at least get camber bolts since they're fairly cheap.

So I know it's recommended with the Sportlines to get a rear camber kit because it's lower, but since the pro kit's drop isn't as drastic, will one be needed for this as well?

With Sportlines you need rear LCA's. With Pro-Kit you do not need rear LCA's.
Both will need front camber bolts which are about $20. Here's a good thread with more info: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26769
