Anyone have any advice for USB OBD adapters and torque? Send like same problem I fad with Bluetooth before where the pins weren't all making contact. I tried bending pins all different ways but no luck. Torque sees it but can connect to ecu

Is it fine to leave these things with the 2 day standby option on? I have no idea how much battery they would drain?

Yeah think about how much power a tablet uses in standby.you could probably leave it on for months just fine.

i just tested pandora from my nexus 5 streaming to the dashlinq and it worked fine. i'm also rooted and did the viper install.

for anyone that cares about how things sound and haven't already figured this out themselves: the stock eq sucks, the viper eq is way better, but the eq in poweramp is even better at least for noobs like me. if you can use poweramp for everything then you're good to go.

for anyone that is like me and uses itunes for your music needs but don't want to stream from your phone then the next best thing is to plug in a usb or load up a microsd with your music. this free app works really well and poweramp reads it fine after setting it to read the usb.

has anyone experienced a buzzing or hissing? like it's there constantly no matter what audio is playing. like no matter what app or if it's audio or video or even if nothing is being played. no buzz/hiss when it's muted though. i rooted pretty quickly after receiving and did the viper install pretty soon after too so i can't remember if i had it before that or not. i know previously i used a ground loop isolator to resolve this when i had a tablet install, but i don't think that would help in this instance.

In poweramp
Settings > Audio Engine > Advanced Tweaks > Direct Volume Control DESELECTED
This puts volume back to the level it should be.

Yeah, that hiss is driving me crazy. Open up a music player, and turn the volume up. Hit pause, and the hiss is there for a couple seconds, then silence. Hit play and it starts back up again.

Like you said, it is there for any program that uses the audio.
