you can still drive the car with popped hose but it will give you rough idle and stalls every time you stop at the red light, very annoying experience

Secure all rubber hoses with clamps. Sounds kinda like boosted car 101.
Good to know though.

Don't worry, we do our best to make sure we don't leave anybody hanging. The tuner is on the dyno with a vehicle right now, but we'll be sure to get back to you.

What's the latest and greatest tune developed by Kraftwerks or Delicious Tuning for the base kit? Is Delicious supplying the tune or is KW supplying it?

IIRC, KW isn't using DT, at least not exclusively. If you get the tune from KW, DT does not offer updates for it, never did. The tune offered by DT is different and is updated.

How did you get the intake manifold off? Is there a guide because it looks complicated as hell. I saw you could somewhat get to them by moving the AC but that's not easy with the SC installed.

To the best of my knowledge delicious was hired by KW to develop the base tune. DT did and sold that tune to kW. DT then continued his efforts to refine the tune, past the dead line that KW was interested in, and then sold his further refined tune separate from KW. After a while KW seemed to realize that DT's abbreviated efforts could be improved upon and went elsewhere for the improvement.

The reason DT sold a less than perfect tune to KW seems pretty simple, but it was blown out of proportion by a few. Time matches on. Ecutek has developed their product further which has allowed some of the improvements, and seat time has allowed the rest. It seemed that some people were worried that DT was sand bagging on the tune that was sold to KW. I think it was more that there wasn't enough time and the canned tune had to be ultra safe as there wouldn't be a way to review logs for each customer. When this issue first came up there was some finger pointing but ultimately I doubt anyone did anything wrong, just misunderstood expectation.

I'm wondering myself. I just want to do it soon...So that I won't have any issue's down the road. DIY for removing manifold with KraftWerks SC installed would be great. Anyone ?

the KW tune offered now is NOT a delicious tune. after the initial tune by delicious, we decided to use a different strategy and come up with a new tune in house. the new KW tune will not require a different tune when the kit is upgraded to the high boost pulley while the Delicious tune WILL need a different program (from what i understand). though i cannot comment on the quality or performance of delicious' updated tunes, i know there are customers out there that have tried both of the latest tunes and can offer up their feedback. the new KW tune is very smooth and makes great power.

anyone who has the earlier KW tune can always get an upgraded KW tune at no charge

Ok, I think the first post is all caught up. Also added the hose clamp install thread and a link to the replacement belt to the first thread.
