As weird as this may sound, but I think you need to add yoga to your workout routine. Some people use it to overcome lack of focus and stress before and after runs. Only a couple have done this and have really come a long way from huffing and puffing from less than a mile. From that point they went to 3 miles to 5, 8, 10, and about 12 miles since last summer. So yeah I'm sure I don't have to tell you how important it is to stretch since yoga is practically that... wait I'll already did. Anyway I'm getting ready to try yoga again as part of working myself back into rebuilding my stamina. So if you want an update I'll let you know how that works out. Another factor that you're not getting pass 5 miles might lie within your pace. Finding the right pace, breathing technique (rhythm), and keeping your mind keen on one thought/goal can change everything. There's definitely different approaches to this if you're trying to finish the race or from being the first one to the finish line. I tend to visualize my goal and my focus sets in on beating my competitor. So if I'm in the gym or outside and I see there's another runner around the area I pretend they're the one(s) beating me in a race. Taunting me or showing little to no effort that they're better than me. That's where I find my focus. I become more determined to pass them, beat them, dust them in my own game. And it works most of the time, cause it doesn't matter if the person is better than you or not. It's just my inner competitiveness that gets me over the hill/wall to my goal. And then of course there's making sure you're eating enough carbs/calories to burn off during your long distance runs. And getting enough rest in between runs or knowing when to take a break so your body can adjust itself and regain your composure. Just thinking about running reminds me of HS when I was only in for sprinting and realized I can't rely on that in college. So my goal went from a mile to 3, then 5. I could probably have done more, but I only needed to be condition for 5 then. But after college I fell off once I started getting into weight lifting more. Now winter is almost over (hopefully) and I told myself I need to get back to running again for this year. So my goal will be 3, 5, 7.... then 10 miles for the beginning of summer. I'll see how that goes.

It would be smarter to buy 3 FR-S's for that money then 1 Land Cruiser. I will now look at Land Cruiser owners completely differently. They are ballin', or just is massive debt, lol. They have a lot of nice features, but it just doesn't make sense that is so close to the price of the Lexus equivalent.

So after 10 minutes of struggling, i finally went to the instruction manual and managed to fold my back seat down. Then, i proceeded to fit 20 large pizzas in the back of my car. So much space!
