Hi,

Hey guys, just wanted to say hi and ask a question. I've asked someone who's worked on a local 86 whether the local 86/BRZ's have the same front tow hook the US cars do and got a negative. I've seen some of the pics on this thread that show otherwise, though. So, I was wondering if there was mounting hardware under the cover. I'm trying to figure out if a front license plate relocator is compatible with the local cars.

Also, does anyone have a pic of what the bumper looks like without the front plate bracket? Hoping to score a car that hasn't been drilled yet. If not, at least hoping the holes aren't too bad.

Thanks,
Duo

Front tow hook and location of the Scion FRS and the Philippine 86 are exactly the same. Using a front license plate re-locator in the Philippines making use of the tow hook is not a good idea as it won't look good because of the difference in size of our license plates which is a lot wider than the plates used in the U.S. All 86/BRZ in the Philippines come with the plate holder in the center and as such you won't find one which doesn't have two holes to hold the plate.

try cubao, but goodluck with the deal you want. most toyota dealers still require you to get in house finance and kits.

There's a grey 86 with LTO plates parked in the reserved parking area of Asians Hospital. Is the distinguished medical person in the forum?

Thanks!!! The RED one. The White is owned by my cousin.
Hahaha..
Meron pang disadvantage dito sa amin, wala kami mga pyesa, hirap mag source out. Madalas DIY pa kahit hindi naman kami expert on it.
Order order pyesa dyan manila, Napapamahal pa dahil sa freight.
