@grannyshifter25 @NIKDENG
the yellow HIDs does a better job in the foggy weather? kasi from experience i've tried driving my friend's bmw e36 na naka yellow HID fogs, and damn i couldn't see anything. but when i used my previous car which had super yellow halogen bulbs, it cut through the fog. well it was raining din at that time, so baka kinain ng rain yung HID? ![]() btw, NIKDENG i saw your BRZ earlier at autokozmetix. you were getting your muffler changed to the STI BRZ one daw ah. ganda na ng BRZ mo haha dami nang mods.

Make sure you get the high quality ballast, bulbs and the housing should be specific for HID and not retrofitted. Most likely, your friend's E36 had yellow HIDs for his fog lights retrofitted to the original housing which is not designed to house HID bulbs thus the light dispersal is not concentrated negating the advantage of HIDs. The 3000k bulb is more than enough to cut through the fog. Make sure the light beam is pointed low to the ground to help even further. The HID fog light assemblies I installed on my E46 M3 and BRZ are even stronger the headlights and easily cuts through rain and fog. Yup, I had my car fitted with the BRZ STi exhaust. Sounds really good and helped release some low end power. Dami nang mods pero dami na ring gastos. |

if ever i go the HID route, what brand can you suggest to me? sa ballast, aside from philips, what else is good? basta personally i don't like to try on the ac tech ones na kaya i didn't get them agad when mike offered it to me for the fogs. i placed them on my c30 before and palagi siya nagloloko and we didn't have a solution to it until i sold it nadin that way. nagpalit na ako ng ballast and tighten connection and change bulbs, and same padin. i have nothing against the brand, i believe its a good one, but i'd rather not try it again haha nadala na ako last time sumakit sobra ulo ko doon :|if ever i go the halogen route, i'm thinking of getting PIAA super yellows or solarzen (some cheap ass bulbs, but they lasted 3 years on my c30!

Those with headlight visibility issues, look into replacing the projectors instead of just plugging in HID bulbs.
