I was literally about to comment on how much *lower* it looks than the current gen! Looks about "right" to me height-wise, whereas stock current-gen looks as if it's on stilts. I lowered mine based on looks alone, before it became my "track car" as well as my daily.

I see it. it's almost as if the beltline is higher or the lower half of the car had been extended downwards. which might be why the front has a longer/taller face.
but the side windows and green house are definitely more squat than prev gen |

The darker color definitely minimizes the front air ducts. |

Just like dark colors minimize the big black mouthguard in the current car! Which is one reason I went with candy-apple grey instead of blue...

Who's going to be the first to post the DIY to replace the USA DOT amber side markers with the white/clear JDM ones, as pictured? ![]() In the USA, we'll also need to know which amber bulb to replace the clear stock one. |

Really?! It must be some kind of optical illusion or something. I always thought the 1st gen looked very low and flat. Well, after you reduce the 4x4 height suspension. ![]() The 2nd gen looks more “upscale” for sure. I can’t think of a better way to describe it. Almost Porsche like. So I think it will look awesome lowered. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I thought Japan also required amber side markers? Or is that Europe? I actually like amber turn signals and side markers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
