Nice chart Spaceywilly but remenber that the others car data are base in real test, we have to wait anyways for a road test to actually get a real picture of the car, but honestly the lack of torque on early rpm are gonna afect big time performance

But this is the email I got from my local Las Vegas Subaru Dealership regarding the BRZ. Take what you want from it.

The 2013 BRZ is a very well exciting and well engineered car. We are pleased to have the opportunity to sell the BRZ at our dealership. It is available in the Premium or Limited model. The Limited comes with leather upholstery. This car comes equipped with a either a 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. It will produce 200 horsepower. At this time we are able to pre sell these vehicles prior to delivery. It would require a $2500 refundable deposit with a first right of refusal. If you pre order one now it would be 90 to 120 days before it would arrive at our dealership. Prices range from $27,000 to $30,000 plus title, tax and fees. There will also be a Subaru of Las Vegas' Assurance package with 2 years/24,000 Carefree Maintenance included plus PULSE, a safer braking technology. Window tint with a lifetime warranty and lifetime oil changes will be included. The total price of this Assurance package is $1185. The standard charge for this package is $2185.00 As a new car owner you will receive a discount of $1000. A fair market premium of $2500 will be added to the price of the vehicle due to very limited availability. We have only been alloted 21 of these cars for this year.
It's here. Suggest you read the whole thread to educate yourself on the slimy dealers. Thanks for posting.

You will probably end up surprised and shocked when the price difference comes out. Won't be as large as you are expecting.

Thrn they will put it on their used car lot so that they can raise the price.. Ugh goddamn dealership money grabbing jerks

Paying above MSRP? You know what they say about a Fool and his money.

I can't believe people are falling for that...

I'll just wait on one to hit the used lot with sub 10k miles. Good friend is the sales manager at the local Toyota used lot anyways.

Edit: Heh...a brand new GT-S back in 1985 was ~12,000...thats $25,000 in today's money.

Oh Scion, you clever dogs you.
Too bad the corolla was crazy overpriced then

You're kidding, right? How can you possibly believe there has been no inflation in the past 80 years? The price of nearly everything has gone up significantly over the years and we've been "printing" trillions of dollars. Of course the CPI is going to look stable because the government constantly changes the way it measures it so it doesn't look as bad.

And what do you think caused the stock market and housing collapses? They were bubbles caused from inflation and mal-investments by the government.

I'm 38 and the Scion tC is more expensive to insure than a Corvette. I was quoted $160+ a month from 5 of the biggest insurance companies around. A Civic Si is around $125-140 a month too.

Not being married is what is screwing my rates over. 3 of the 5 told me being married would cut the cost by around 40-45%.

God I hope not.

People need to learn what down payments are for. If they can't afford a good down payment, they can't afford the car. For a $25k car, consider a bare minimum of $4-5k down. Anything less is silly unless you get a less than 1% APR.
