@sw20kosh I may have missed it in the ether, but is there a reason you're driving around so gingerly? Does it still require tuning or something?

To anyone with it installed - Any strut tower brace interference??

I checked out invisages 86 over the past week. Dropped him off at the workshop to pick up his car in fact. Anyway, it looks like the TRD carbon fibre strut bar will interfere with the supercharger...

Anyone who has theirs installed.. are you guys running strut tower braces.. and if so, which ones?
I've probably got my eye on the BeatRUSH variant. Keep my build all JDM, JDM Kwalitee

no one who has riddin in the car has bitched about the suspension comfort.
NVH is higher but put on almost anyones exhaust and you will be close...
What rpm are you at while driving ~70 mph with the 4.7 rearend?

So what exactly is Innovate still doing? From your posts I see you guys tracking your cars, driving them around, ect. I see your reactions to the supercharger being installed and they all seem very positive. So what more is Innovate trying to accomplish before making it available to the public? Maybe I've missed the posts, but I haven't seen any data as to what you guys are trying to do before calling it done. The kit seems to be a working unit. So again, what more are you guys trying to accomplish?

They are probably (at this point) simply wishing they had kept the product off of the forums, I know it is new to this community but alot of GOOD products take years to develop, and forum land seems to not understand what this entails.

Innovate is going through the process of getting CARB EO status for this kit, that means alot of hoops to jump through upfront and being sure that the long term functionality of the kit is ideal, as it will become an integral part of your car for the life of the vehicle...

or did you want to hear that they spent all the time and money to make a bunch of kits and now they want to keep them for themselves?
Trust me they are working hard to bring this to market in the proper fashion. they will not be using initial customers as "beta testers" as so many other companies have been doing, when their kit is ready, it will bolt in like an air freshener, and simply work...and to reiterate, I don't have any affiliation to these guys, (if anything I'm mad that i'm not doing any of the manufacturing for them ) and I prefer turbos...

I wasn't meaning to sound offensive if I came off that way. It's just after having 47 pages of "Look at my lap times.", "This kit is awesome, feels like we put a V6 in the car", yada yada with no, "Okay guys here's what we're working on to make this better", it just leaves one wondering.

Working on getting CARB approval. Good to know.

Sucks for the other 49 that don't require CARB though.
