I'm going to try to answer as many questions as possible. If you are in an emergency situation, call us rather than posting. A lot of questions have been asked over the weekend, some of them fairly urgent. I've expressed that we are closed for business on the weekends and that responses on the forum may not be as quick because we are out of the office... So things like "waiting for Kraftwerks response" or "I need this right now @KraftWerks." are literally being seen right now, and we're moving as fast as possible to get everyone squared away.

Can we arrange a faster shipping. This baby is my DD
@zoth, was your kit purchased direct from Kraftwerks or from a dealer? Kit's that are currently shipping from us DO come with toothed pulley, however if your kit was stocked at a dealer, it may not have them in the box because it has been on the dealers shelf for a few weeks. We are providing them for free, if you need them just ask!

MAP sensors- The ONLY kit that comes with a MAP is the C30-94 kit that is purchased with tuning. If you don't have a MAP sensor in your kit that was purchased from us with tuning, please call us!

Instructions- We ARE updating the instructions, they will be available as soon as possible.

@KraftWerks Is there another molded couple for C38 kits? The sc outlet side / molded coupler inlet side is apparently too small. The other (larger) side fits over the outlet perfectly, and the outlet is the same size as the hotside pipe, so I can't see why it would be made smaller...? That would bottleneck right at the very beginning, needless to say it's (as far as I've tried) extremely difficult or nigh impossible to get the smaller side over the sc outlet.

Mike @moto-East ordered it directly from you... Then shipped to me. So it was not sitting on his self.

How come tuner kits purchased by forum members are receiving sensors

so, I just got off the phone with a Kraftwerks support guy.

1. he has told me that MAP sensor is NOT part of the tuner kit.

- I asked him why some people who got tuner kits did receive MAP sensor. His answer was that it's strange and maybe they (KW) messed up packages. With missing parts people report I believe him.

- I asked him how come the sensor that is essentially required for tuning the car with their kit (by a tuner from outside or using their OTS tune) is not part of the kit. His answer was that it is only required if limitation of the stock sensor is hit. Remember this post:

I believe this guy now. I wonder why they decided to include intercooler...

- I asked why it wasn't made clear and never mentioned that apparently tuner kit does not include MAP sensor. It was never mentioned on this thread, neither on Kraftwerks Rotrex Supercharger Discussionthread, not was it mentioned in the group buy. I said that their description doesn't mention it on their website. Here's where he corrected me - if you look at the product description of the kit w/Tuning, click on 'read more' and go to the end it says: "Includes OE Denso MAP sensor for more precise speed density tuning conversion." So rather than making clear comparison between tuner and w/Tuning kits or at least making it clear in that "Note:" box and reflecting ALL differences in the they conveniently mention only at the very bottom of w/Tuning kit that it includes MAP sensor. I'm curious if that was recently added. But wait, those who decide to buy w/Tuning kit, read the last line "• Kits sold with or without tuning". So tomorrow they may say that yeah, you got your EcuTek programming kit and license, the actual tune is optional.

2. The C38 kit does NOT come neither with revised molded pipe that connects supercharger outlet to intercooler piping and has diverter valve connector nor does it at least come with coupler that would go over c38 outlet and reduce diameter to that molded pipe, which would be halfassed solution anyway (what's the point of having larger supercharger outlet pipe if it needs to reduce diameter to what C30 has) but at least a solution. You are completely on your own there. The rep was saying that they never meant to sell C38 kits (even though they made a mounting plate that can take it, advertize it on these Kraftwerk threads, and post dyno numbers) and that people who bought C38 are those who are willing to test that setup. Hell yes, I'm willing to test a setup and get a tuner to tune it, but I was expecting all the hardware required to complete this setup. Nope, they simply throw in C38 blower, charge you $300 bucks extra (even though it costs only $100 extra over C30) and call it a day.

heh, took me a bit to type all that
and yes, i am upset. i had a map sensor and sold it when i saw posts that kit comes with it.

Odd, call and speak to Joe D. he will get the toothed pulley's in the mail to you. I see people using a term that we do not use to describe the kit and it believe it is causing some confusion... "Tuner". We sell the standard Kraftwerks BRZ/FRS C30-94 kit and offer a C38-81 upgrade. There is a C30-94 kit that is available with tuning, but it is not called a "tuner" kit. Kit's that are purchased with TUNING come with a MAP sensor, no other kits are supposed to come with a MAP, if purchased a kit without TUNING and received a MAP with it, consider yourself lucky, it wasn't supposed to be in the box.

I guess that's fine. @KraftWerks they should have indicated the sensor is also one of the difference between ecutek kits vs. tuner kits. Got a 3 bar Omni from @moto-East.

@KraftWerks can you please send me the cogged pulley's?

BRAND NEW development since you spoke to customer service 2 hours ago. We have a large facility, R&D has to verify parts, prior to notifying sales and customer service that they are "available".

Wow, the lucky ones. Anyways called Joe D. and he's going get the pulley's out soon. Great products guy's... The quality of the parts are very good.

Comments:

1.) Torque to specs is a killer.
2.) Some are still missing parts (killer when your in the middle of the build, only to find out that you are missing screws.
3.) Need to indicated that Tuner Kit does not include Map sensor.

My 2 cents.
