Did this last night. I was a bit aggressive with getting the adhesive residue off, even with Goo-Gone, and left some micro-scratches around that area. Too faint and small for me to care though, thankfully.
For future reference, use your fingers to roll off the sticky stuff, don't pick at it with your nails!!!

Use fishing line to work behind the badges. They will pop right off. Helps if it is a warm day/heated garage/whatever.
I did mine in direct sunlight on a 68 degree day. BRZ and Subaru came right off. Then I used 3M Adhesive Remover, applied gently with a soft automotive cloth. Rubbed it in for a few seconds, used fingers to roll off adhesive and then kept using the 3M stuff until it was clean. Then I got my car washed. It's really clean. Perrin 3" and some Rallyarmors here too. Need to update the picture sine I have new tail lights now too.

Cleaner wax or any liquid wax will dissolve the residue right off, and it was designed for your paint. I have debadged and removed trim from many cars, using wax to remove the adhesive. I would be weary of using Goo Gone or adhesive remover on my clear coat, though I'm sure its fine..

I initially just wanted to de-badge the "subaru" on the left, but once I saw how it looked I decided to do the same to the "BRZ". I love how clean it looks!

So the best method is to use floss to get it off? And it comes off easy when it's warm? I'm a little nervous about doing this

I've seen someone debadge everything in the back and rebadge the BRZ letters spread out on the center. It looked pretty nice.

Debadging done. Rebadging done. I took it for a spin and I can confirm the STI logo adds an extra 10 HP in sharp left turns.
