Has anyone de-badged their BRZ?

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if anyone has de-badged their BRZ yet. Normally I'm not into taking badging off cars, but the badging on the BRZ doesn't really add anything to the trunk lid. The lettering is rather unimaginitive if you ask me. I would keep the Stars of Pleiades emblem but remove "Subaru" and "BRZ". Just wondering if anyone's done this and can show a pic of what it looks like... or if you Photoshop experts have done this...

I'm tempted to debadge the "Subaru" and "BRZ" for a nice clean look on the trunk.

I haven't decided, if I got the Scion I would remove the FR-S badge right away as I hate it's placement, but I don't have any issues at the moment with the placement of the badges on the BRZ.

i'm sure pictures will be up very soon... i hope theyre only pasted on there and not drilled like some cars

Subaru tends to paste their lettering. I will be debadging the letters when mine comes in, think it will look better.

I'd like to remove everything off the rear truck but is the subaru emblem studded through the lid?

Brzer 06-02-2012 01:56 PM

I debadged the word SUBARU on the left rear of the car. Looks much better. That is how all the JDM cars come based on the pics I have seen. I left the BRZ. I just pulled them off. My garage was about 77 degrees at the time. Removed two remaining specks of glue with GooGone. It took less than 5 minutes! No hairdryer. No dental floss required.

Probably. The Scion emblem is studded and held in with adhesive; I can only imagine the Subaru one will be, too. The letters are just stuck on.

Remove Subaru Badge and BRZ badge.

Attach on Toyota badge and the 86 boxer emblem on the back. Lol Or just take them both off and put the 86 boxer on the back.

Same car. Different stamps. So I'll go with the one that means both. :)

I removed the Subaru and brz on mine. They were super easy to remove. It cleaned up really well. I'd say it made the back so much cleaner looking. I won't remove Subaru badge because I'm proud of being a subie driver lol

I'll see if I can get a better shot for you guys (this was photographed with my friends camera, which I no longer have). It was really easy, the glue is really soft when you first get the car. From past experiences, the longer you wait to do it, the harder the glue becomes.
