Whoa that front lip is a at a great price! I'll hold off though, already spent too much this weekend. What I wanna know is is the genuine STi lip a flat matte black color/texture? I'm planning to paint the lip and would like to get it as close to the genuine texture as possible.

For anyone that has the side skirt installed, did you run into a problem with a gap in the rear section where the skirt curves upwards? That damn section refuses to stay flush with the car. Any ideas?

Mine is having trouble a bit lower than that. About midway to the start of the upward curve.

Gonna order some of this... might be a bit overkill...

I don't know if you should be too concerned, others have installed and posted pics of these and fitment looks to be perfect. Proper placement of 3M tape should prevent any gaps

Do you know how many holes need to be drilled for the front lip? Have you received yours yet? How does it look?

Yeah the tape that it comes with doesn't seem too strong. I purchased the 3M Black Automotive Acrylic Attachment Tape, put two layers on for extra thickness , and reattached the skirt. Gonna let it cure for a bit but it looks like it's going to stay on now

Yes, fitment is great; the tape that is included isn't.
It seems to have trouble sticking to the skirt.

Thanks for the heads up! So gaps were not an issue due to fitment then. I'll use some more aggressive 3M tape before install.

For the record, the tape included worked great for the rear aprons and it's the same stuff including same ABS plastic

On a side note guys, and may not be directly related to those that are have issues with the 3M tape sticking to the ABS plastic, but make sure you clean both the inside of the skirt with alcohol and obviously the painted area where skirts will attach beforehand.

I just checked my skirts out as they are already prepped for install, tape looks good. I tried to lift the tape with my finger nails in a few locations across the skirts and it's holding tight as it should. I also ran a piece of 3M tape down the edge of the widest part of the skirt near the back to help pull it in tight against the body. I used my own 3M tape of course because the tape that is included is only enough to run along the edge of the weather strip all the way down the inner portion of the skirt.

I can attach pics if anyone's interested...

Any automotive grade double sided 3M tape will be fine. Can be found at most hardware and auto parts stores. Also, lot's of choices for size and length all over ebay
