True story. Sad. But true. I have the money too. It's just ugh. My first "accident" in a car you could say too

Although steep. I sort of expected that sort of price tag. Probably another 500 for the trunk. Yikes! haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I just wonder if it's heaped to have them patch and blend or just paint the whole damn thing. They'd have to paint the emblem and the right front area anyways. Maybe it's cheaper to just paint the whole bumper again? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Patching and blending is not much cheaper. Local guy had his front bumper holes filled and bleded for $350+ I would have painted all of it, personally, but looking at it, it looks GREAT

I'd rather pay 350+ but I also need them to paint a basketball sized area on the right front side. So it may be 500 when it's all said and done anyways. Might as well get the best paint job for the same price as patching. In my case Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That is the definition of insurance. It is not supposed to be for weekly or monthly events like medical "insurance". You are paying the company for a policy to know that in the event of a large incident you won't lose your financial well being. Not many Americans can afford to pay $100,000 out of pocket.
