I'd like more bump travel. There's probably enough, I just like having more.

Is your bump travel reduced b/c you have more preload set? I remember talking with someone from Eibach and they said there's about 3" of bump travel for these dampers (forgot if he was referring to the front or rears). Also consider we're running 650 rates instead of 350.

How long are the bumpstops? Can you use shorter ones? I've used the ziptie trick before just to make sure I was hitting the bumpstops.

Lowered it one inch. I wonder what's the lowest before the geometry is all messed up. I looked at the rear lower control arm and it's almost flat with the road lol.

I didn't measure, but I'd guess ~3/4"

I lowered the car about 10-15mm (depending on which corner you measure from) on 600lb springs and there's about 1.5" of bump travel pre bumpstop. My concern is a mix of bump travel plus droop. Lifting a rear would suck. I may have to lower more to avoid that (or stiffer via swaybar) but then I start using bumpstops at Sebring. I have to account for the least smooth track surface I've ever driven on

The guys lowering these cars 2" or more have to be riding on the bumpstops all the time. It's also possible the bumpstops slid down a bit making it look worse than it is. I didn't spend much time on it, had to get the car done so I could take a nap before my hockey game tonight.

More preload would increase bump and decide droop travel. Initially I had the car higher than stock (about 25 threads under the locking collar). It had probably 3/4" droop travel.

Is it that easy to ride the bump stops even with 500/650 springs? I won't be on r-comps, just Direzza II street tires.

Depends on height and surface. Sebring is HELL on dampers. I'm still happy with them though, they are handling the rates great so far, just need to get some track time to tune them

I'll check with Eibach tomorrow though, I'm sure there's enough travel, I just wouldn't mind having an extra inch (that's what she said).

might want to look into these

STREET no sheetmetal triming
Adds 2" rear travel

RACE requires rear sheetmetal trimming
Adds 3" rear travel

Will these fit the R1 and R2?
