I swear to god there is a force preventing me from getting this data. I think my obd adapter went bad. It will pair but will constantly drop connection with my phone.

Ill have access to another adapter in a few days.

If some one has acces PLEASE run a full pid scan with the car on but not running. Then unplug the temperature sensor cable and run another scan. Give me the two files and I will take it from there.

So the "Gold bolt" switch on the right is the oil temp sensor? I will check on that and see what I can find tomorrow. Can someone who is an expert at wiring trace and see where the wire ends up at?

Yes the brass looking one. There is a little release on the plastic to discinnect the wiring. Most likey it goes to the ecu.

Thanks. I dont think we will need one now. We should be able to het the negative value from when the cable is unplugged and the actual value. These should be enough.

I really wish I could help out, I wish there was more people willing to help out, hopefully you can get someone to send you the files or you can get yours to work, appreciate the effort you're making!

On a different topic... I was wondering if anyone else is using the Fuel % from ecu? If so what % off is the torque reading compared to the gas guage?

I'm finding that the there is a 25% - 35% difference between the 2. When my gas gauge reads 50% torque is telling me I'm at 80% full. Which one is accurate or closer to accurate?

I have attempted to acquire the requested data but I apparently don't know how. I do have an ELM 327 v1.5 adapter that communicates well with my tablet. I do have the Torque Pro app. I see the Torque Scan on the menu and it gives me the list of working PIDs in green and the others that are not working. The only way that I know to record data is to use the track record off of the Real Time Data on the menu. I feel sure this is not the data you want since it is only what I have specified to record.

Please enlighten me so that I can be of help.

I think this depends on the fuel capacity you set in the torque app. Ill compare to what fuel level my ecutek says.

Go to plugins. Install torque scan. Open it from the main menu. Hit menu select pid scanner. Try running a normal scan at first to see if that cintains the data we need. Run scan again without the oil sensor plugged in. I would make sure the car has been sitting for a while in case other values change from the first to second one. If the scan does not contain the data then try the full scan.

OK, I guess I need more help. I have gotten the scan to run multiple times. I don't seem to have a choice in what type of scan. Sometimes they run 5 or 6 minutes. Sometimes they run for over 30 minutes. I seem to have no control. I have captured one 'short' scan and emailed it to myself.

I suggest you PM me with an email address that I can send it to. I have to eat now and go somewhere. I will try to get another try in tonight when I return home. BRZ is sitting in the garage due to nasty weather so it will still be 'cold.'

That does look pretty short. When you select start scan you have a check box for full scan.
