Mine was replaced at 10800 miles a little over 2 months ago.
I put 2500 miles since then and have 0 chirp.

My car used to have this strange noise too, but that noise went away also after I got the new pump.

But I would suggest to wait a little bit longer. I would feel comfortable if there is no chirp even after 5000 miles.

Chirp came back! Original Pump was replaced with the green dot. Only took about 5 tanks of gas.

How many miles did you have on the original pump?
When was your pump replaced?
Which gas station do you use?

I had 10800 on original. Replaced on 5/22. I'm on the 8th tank now and only used Chevron.

Well, I do have the chirp now -_-

Definitely can hear it [it's still pretty quiet really] - filled up with 92E Tesoro gas and sure enough it manifested by the time I got home.

Doesn't bug me too much yet but just knowing that it's not a "normal" noise a car should make will make me go for the replacement in the near future.

I know Tesoro is pretty solid gas wise, but I think I'll probably try to hunt down a convenient Chevron location as I've always felt like my cars ran best on their fuel. If someone has a better suggestion for fuel, lemme know.

That being said I actually have a call in to Aloha re: the E0 92 situation down Waianae side too so just for info purposes I'll post that here when they get back to me.

I've got the chirps, and it gets louder on Costco gas (I think they use the same stuff as Aloha or Tesoro). Chirps seem faintly more quiet on Chevron gas.

Weird, considering all of Hawaii's gas is supposed to be top-tier, right?

Update on chirping. I've filled up with Chevron, and the chirping is definitely quieter.

Anyway, I brought my car in for an oil change today at Servco, and mentioned that I had a squeeking/chirping coming from my car. The service attendant said it's the fuel pump and they'll look into it.

Hmm... Do they already know how to address this problem? The said my car should be ready in a few hours...

It would be great if I can go back to using Costco gas.

There have been a good number of us, myself included, who have gone through the TSB prescribed fix only to have the noise return in a few hundred miles. It's annoying, but it's not detrimental to performance. Generally it happens when the car's warmer, which is why you may think the fuel made the difference; it probably didn't. Costco actually has excellent gas comparable to some of the better brands (Chevron, Texaco, Mobil... Shell is still the best though), so I'd go back to using Costco and wait until a real fix emerges.

I gots the 'newest' pump, put about 600 miles on it and bam, noise came back. I might try putting two stroke oil in the tank, see what happens....

The last I know, the newest pump is the ones with manufactured date of late February and later. Since you have 10 series, I'm guessing yours already have the newest pump. I would wait at least until a newer design pump comes out.

This seems to be so random. It works for some people and doesn't work for others. I got mine replaced in May when it had almost 11k miles on it. It's been 3.5k miles since then and I still have no chirp. I got mine replaced at Mapunapuna.

Mine was a March 2013 manufactured car, was supposed to be fixed. Replacement pump does the same thing. At this point, we're going to have to wait for a different pump.

No point in wasting time to get it constantly replaced, until a true fix is out.

If you have a tune, or a tuner that can help you out, stick E0 fuel into your car. It works for me. No chirps unless engine oil is at 205 for more than 40 minutes. As before, this issue may occur because of how the fuel pump strains when fuel pressure rises from engine heat.

Where is the pump located? Has someone tried isolating it from engine bay heat with a wrap or some insulation?

It's on page 2. I don't know if anyone tried that.
