forgot about this update:

got pissed off at the windows not working. happened to press the window child lock button very hard and something popped and everything works now. it must have gotten stuck somehow, cause that button did nothing when everything was screwed up.

So I had my doors replaced recently, (long story) and the panels were switched from one set to another. After I got the car back from the body shop I noticed my windows didnt auto up nor could I lower the passenger side down from the drivers side. Tried the button thing and nothing. Took it to the body shop and they couldnt figure it out either. Really don't want to go to the dealership and deal with them. Any help? How hard is it to take these panels so I can check the wire connections?

Did you check the fuses? Doubt there is a separate fuse for each door but you never know.

I could see why the fuse would be a problem but if the fuse was bad wouldnt the windows not go down or up at all?

No it shouldn't. I miss read you statement that it wouldn't work from the drivers side as not working at all. Fuses not likely the issue.

No problem, im thinking it has to be a connection in the master switch, but i just find it so odd that i still have constant power to both windows

Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and let the BCU reset. It just may not recognize the new doors yet.

Doubt it will do anything but worth a shot. There may be something not quite connected someplace.

Well, lizbrayan, I reckon you will have to take the doors apart and find out what is not connected.

Have you tried that "hold the button down/reset" move ... ??
