Ive got black toyota badges on mine. Nothing but compliments saying it looks cleaner than the scion badging.
I love the look of the black (I did a semi-gloss black) toyota badges, sort of an OEM+ feel to it.

I've never thought about replacing or changing my Scion badge... Although I can understand the perspective folks come from when changing up.

I just love the car for what it is, and how it drives... I've never been a person who has worried about the branding or badges that come along with a product or a car.

Everyone's different though... And I respect that.

I don't understand rebadging to earn respect, or to look cooler. It is what it is. Anyone knowledgeable will know, and technically you're shaming yourself more by covering it up?

I understand debadging for aesthetics, but not to "hide the truth" that we own a Scion.

This is very true. If we should meet up on the street some day and you're re-badged, you will immediately lose some points.

I was thinking a lot about this today, I think I'm going to take of my FR-S badge and just put on some subaru emblems on it. I think that would look clean. I already have the subaru wheel center things installed. Scion...just a shit brand, really. Subaru did vastly more work on the car so I feel just fine having that logo on it.

This is why I bought the BRZ. This on top of better materials, standard HID's and much cheaper insurance. ^_^

Even so, I debadged it anyway just to give it that sleeker look.

Seems to me it's predominantly younger males that are concerned how others perceive the branding of their Scion. Not sure why as that brand is specifically targeted to your demographic.

If I saw a car I knew was rebadged I'd be thinking its just another kid who needs to get over it. Rebadging probably lowers your resale too.
