He was a cool cop he liked the car and we chatted it up for a bit. I respect cops and if they see us being wreckless ultimately it's our own fault. Those guys have stressful jobs I think my encounter this morning got that cop in a better mood. Some car talk, talked about some murders in the city, most of those guys are just like everyone else.
No i'm not white not that thats a problem. There are some ass cops out there but most here are cool. A new police chief here over the past two years got the public and cops interacting. All this tension went away. In my specific town the cops are cool they're just doin their job.

this is ''dead nuts" accurate! ALWAYS try to ''blend" in traffic ,regardless of speed! a "loud" "bright ass" colored car is ''always" "lit up" by the man! positioning yourself in the "middle" is favorable when possible, because you are less likely to be "sampled" by "instant on!"

this is unfortunate in that certain "ethnic" classes of people are being ''singled" out by others because that particular ethnic group cause trouble all the time!
this is unfortunate because others are grouping them all together along with the hating attitudes. of course this is short sighted because "everyone is different!"

No tickets yet, 1700 miles. My cars are always black, but I don't speed either; I just don't slow down when cornering to have fun. haha

Not sure why, but my insurance went up $50 a month coming from a 2011 gunmetal Camaro SS. You'd figure that it might be the same or go down with a white car, with IIHS safety award, and that it only has 200hp compared to 426hp.

I also have one at fault accident and one not at fault. Are they at all forgiving for accidents? Damn Texas drivers

No ticket yet, though I'm sure I'll get one sooner or later. I have my windows tinted at 35% and no license plate bracket on the front. Both of which seem to be illegal in my state.

Oh, and a nice tidbit about Progressive. The snapshot discount device will NOT increase your rates, it can only be used to lower your rate. The key to getting a discount is avoiding hard braking (over 7mph/sec deceleration to be exact), so as long as you keep your distance you're golden. And it is ok to take the device off for track days. As long as it's once/twice a month for periods no longer than a day or so.

Lol I would not be able to live with this. Also, my OBD2 port is currently occupied by a standalone ECU and a bluetooth OBD2 adapter for the Torque app on Android.
