Yeah but some internal gates struggle holding low boost and there doesn't look to be much space for a recirculating setup.

APs setup is an open gate btw. They are the most illegal part of the system where I am, and I think they sound crap, especially on a setup like this where they will be flowing almost constantly.

That would be for the turbo, exhaust manifold, turbo outlet (to bolt up to standard exhaust), oil/water cooling system, fmic, intake pipe, and a base map (for tuning).

thank you christ for pricing this realisticly!

this will also include a BOV and an internal WG I would assume?

ok seeing bov will be optional, if its chose as an option will the flange be on the piping.

I recall some questions, but never seen any direct replies from you - what would be the target boost and target whp\wtq with you kit, which are your estimates?

Would it make sense adding thicker head gaskets to drop the compression down, which would allow for more boost?
But again, this comes to the strength of the internals, which doesn't have any descent statistics yet...

BTW thanks so much for this stealth approach for the design

internal wastegates are usually not vented to atmosphere thus I conclude this setup would retain it's stealth appeal.

Is there going to be options for people who don't want to be stealth? lol

Just remember AVO is JDM. If the Yen continues to climb, the price of the turbo kit will adjust. You can't say no to Legacy low-mount placement though.

What type of turbo? Ball bearing? Twin scroll? You know you want to do it!
I guess if you want to avoid currency fluctuations, you could always hedge your risk by converting to yen haha.

Paul,

This is my big question as well.
You can't really do gravity feed since the turbo will be lower than or to the side of the oil pan, so I assume you need a pump of some type? Unless i'm missing something.

Another turbo kit with full parts list includes an oil scavenge pump and tubing and fittings, etc.. I think those parts alone are $400 to $500.

Would we assume that if we bought this kit we would need to supply and design our own scavenge pump?

Or have you found another way to cool the turbo properly? Is there enough pressure through the block itself and the stock oil pump to ensure enough flow through the turbo?
