I'm not aware of any swaps. I only did a short google search that turned up one hateful thread on a Ferrari forum, and not much else. Unfortunately, that link is blocked by my work computer so I shall check it later, but I'm interested.

Tcoat nailed it but the bottom line is - If it's possible to do it wrong, it will. The only time one can depend on common sense for one's own safety is when there is no one else involved in the task. By-the-book process exists to minimize the reliance on judgement. Think about the number of times you and a buddy were working on something stupidly simple and it went to shit just because one of you incorrectly made an assumption without speaking.

I learned respect and appreciation for process in navair. I literally watched people die because of failure to follow the mundane step-by-step procedures.

It wasn't that long ago when, according to this definition of antique, it was impossible for an antique car to exist. I think a century is a bit of a stretch.

Ok, well, not the best version, but acoustic is kind of cool, right? RIGHT?!
Yes, absolutely!

In most states you can get an "antique" plate most commonly at 20 years.

For as long as I can remember that has been the rule of thumb for antique cars in the US, although it is longer in some other countries, and it may be time to extend it in general.

I also might have had an accident upon seeing the fastback render.

I agree that the 100 years thing is a tad long for the antique definition. Maybe they were trying to say all old cars are cool when they reach that age.
