If that's all gassed up, that's pretty dang sweet.

Agree. That's a lot of weight shed. I have more weight than stock. But dear god the cooler mornings the past couple days has made e85 pull insane.

I plan to drop another twenty lbs. for competition with a lighter battery, and eventually another 34 lbs. with racing seats.

The car probably had no more than 2 gallons of gas when weighed (at the El Toro pro-solo on corner scales). And it had no junk in the trunk, no floor mats, and no owners manual.

I wonder how much of that weight is the gas. 120 pounds lower than factory curb weight is a huge number, even with removing the trunk stuff and lightening the exhaust.

Looks like roughly 8.4 lbs per gallon. So running on 2 gallons saving about 92.4 lbs.

Race2win has his at 2620
Simmons is at 2645
Scooby South has is at 2691.

These, as well as mine, are STX trim.

When I get the cash together, mine will drop down to 2572 in race mode.

Ok so going through the July weekends how does July 20-21st sound for a Grand Canyon cruise/site seeing? That should be far enough into the future to ask off for any weekends if needed and I figured make a 2 day trip out of it and rent a couple rooms there. Leaving early in the morning Saturday giving us time to site see, grab some food, etc. Who is interested?
