I think @DarrenDriven needs another The Fast & The Furious showing at his garage. We can all huddle around a space heater or something!

Hey!

My name Andrew and I live in Ferndale WA.
My wife bought me my FR-S for my 30th.
My car is Asphalt and has the six-speed automatic gearbox.
My car was born in May of 2013 and came stock with crickets.
My car came with the OE rear decklid spoiler and touch radio.

So far I've got around 5000miles on the car.
I silenced my crickets by switching to non-ethanol 90 from 76.

Current mods include:
TRD cold-air intake.
JDM clear side markers.
Optima sealed battery.
2" Perrin antenna.
OE mudguards.
"FR-S" debadge.

Previous cars in order:
1971 Pontiac firebird
1977 Toyota Celica st coupe
1974 Toyota Celica GT coupe
1971 Toyota Celica st coupe
1977 Toyota Celica GT Liftback
1949 Studebaker land cruiser
1992 Saturn SC2
1970 Fiat 124 sport spider
1992 Toyota MR2

My FR-S is my first automatic and I love it.
Thanks everyone! -Andrew
:-)

Welcome to the community, Andrew! You've got some great classics on your previous car list! A 1st-gen Celica is still on my bucket list!

Thank you!
It's amazing how fast the 1st gen Celicas seem to have dried up. I purchased all of mine in Wenatchee WA for, looking back, a pittance. The only one I put money into was the '74 Celica GT coupe, it was already restored and repainted when I picked it up for $2500. Some friends of mine were racing Celicas at the Wenatchee super oval and they built me a hybrid 20/22r motor. I probably dumped $6k into that car which seemed like a lot at the time. I'd love to pick up another one also, apart from being rust-prone, they make incredible daily drivers. I was actually trying to get into another one when I picked up my little Fiat. It's ten times easier to find a nice Fiat/Alfa/Lancia from the same period than a Celica. I hope you can find a good one. They are SO neat. :-)

I wouldn't mind one of these in my stable... that last one almost looks like a 66-ish Mustang fastback!

That black coupe against the red brick wall is SO much like my little '74 GT coupe, I have this same picture saved in my phone because I don't think I have any photos of mine. Same colors, same chrome, I had old Enkeis on mine that almost looked like a muscle car wheel, they were aluminum with four large round holes in them, and rivets around the edge. This car in the photo is also lacking my little 1" flares around the wheel arches. They were welded in, then glassed over before the car was painted. The front flares actually flowed very nicely into the front air dam. I also had the OE rear spoiler and slats on the back window. I also had the original packing slip from when the car was delivered to the US. It came into Portland OR and the original price for the whole car with the "GT Package" was about $2600 if I remember correctly. I wish I had held onto it. I was sort of forced to sell it because my Grandparents were going to Italy to attend a family wedding, they wanted to take me but I needed to pay for airfare. At that time it was the only thing I had that I could sell quickly, and my '77 Celica st coupe was still my daily driver.
Those old coupes are so beautiful, inside and out. :-(

Figured i should say hi.

So, I've been lurking here for a while but just got around to posting for the first time. I picked up an Argento 2014 FR-S a couple months ago and have already started pulling it apart...

I just wanted to say hey and introduce myself. my name is Atom and i'm in Seattle. I'm from LA but i moved up here about 12 years ago to open a tattoo shop and we've been going strong ever since.

Sorry for the low light phone pic... I left my DSLR at home.
