He told me discount on extended warranty, which I prolly won't buy, because they have the 2 years maintenance thing, right? Car washes and oil changes wouldnt be a bad idea. Sierra Subaru in Monrovia only offered 4 free oil changes as a bonus, which is shit, really. And today, the Sierra Subaru quoted me an OTD price that would be $31,252.60, based on a MSRP of $28,265 which again, is $20 more than it should've been right?

Also guys! Rich will be leaving town for 2 Weeks...Again "2 WEEKS" he should be back around the 24th-25th of April.

He says "his sorry if some of you think his lagging on pricing and keeping everyone updated but his been real busy with work....but he'll get to you guys ASAP.

Rich also said when he gets back there should already be release dates out!!!!!
Hmmm...he told me $26,265 for premium MT.
But he also mentioned that he's "hoping" they come in early May and that Rene and I will definitely be the first 2 to get it, but its the same as the previous comment as far as deals go.
Carpets come installed already, is what he told me.

I also got a call from Rich. Here is the breakdown...

1. I ordered a Limited 6AT and my price is $29,365.00 with destination.

2. I ordred the Homelink rear view mirror. He didn't have a price, but estimated it around $170 - $200.

3. Floor mats are included in ALL Subaru's.

4. He said he would fight for us to get 10 - 15% off on all accessories. I said I'd go for wheel locks.

5. He did say that he's going on vacation to Panama for 2 weeks.

6. Still no definite answer on when the dealer will start taking deliveries.

7. He said chics dig this car and will flash anyone driving it! j/k

1. Destination fees will be charged.
2. floor mats are included, He will look into the wheel locks nuts to see if he can throw those in for free.
3. All accessories can be 10% off. however, its best to order it from factory. if dealer have to independently install those accessories, a labor fee will be applied.
4. the first oil change is free. Subaru currently have a 2 year maintenance free promotion, if we were able to get the BRZ before the promotion end, he will go down his list can call us individually to lock in the contract.
5. ext warr discount is open to discussion. he will have to get back with me as to how much he can get it off by.

Throughout the call I can hear his GM yelling at him in the background…. i dont know if this is a show or is she really yelling at him.

according to him. we have 18 members that have put down a deposit for preorder. and we are guarantee to pay MSRP.

BTW i am only bargining on behaves of everyone who have put down a deposit already with them.
Got the same call from Rich at 4:15 today. Basically what he told everyone else (I ordered the Limited as well) but I wasn't able to speak to him as long as I would have liked because I was unusually busy at work today.

So $28,265, floor mats are coming with the car, discounts on accessories (had him add the auto-dimming w/ compass), and said he's not sure when I'll be able to get my car.

Depending on how things turn out, I might actually have to cancel my order and pick up one of my other choices

But until then, Limited Lightning Red 6MT

Hey yall, I'm away from home right now, and would like to request if someone has some free time, to put together a small chart of prices including both trims, destination fees, totals, etc so we have something to reference off of, and also to make sure that we are all getting the same $number$. Thx!!

Just thought I'd mention:
the $20 discrepancy is because most articles showing the MSRP of the BRZ listed destination as $750. However, Subaru changed that to $770.

Not sure about the numbers 86design got though... those aren't really adding up. Should be $26,265 for premium manual and $27,365 for premium auto, no? (prices including $770 destination)

K, so the $20 change is okay then, right? If yes, then I'm gonna take my car to get various repairs done and then put her up for sale!

So to clarify: What are we getting out of this GB besides MSRP and the "hooked up" wheel locks? Anything else you want to bargain for? Please list realistic goals, so we can call Rich up :P

Hey all,

Just got an email from SOA:

---------------
Hello xxxxx,

Thank you for contacting Subaru of America, Inc. We appreciate your interest in our vehicles.

I do see your order in the system for the BRZ. Right now there is very high demand for the BRZ. Currently your order status is WAIT LIST and when a BRZ becomes available they will fulfill your order.

We will have more information in the upcoming weeks. Should you need further assistance please feel free to contact me at 1-800-782-2783.

Sincerely,
Sean Ross
Subaru of America, Inc.
Customer Dealer Services

------------

Supposedly I'm #10 on the GB, so not sure how this is gonna translate in terms of my getting the car in May/June. Did anyone else get an email like this?

Nevermind. Just called SoA, and the guy just said that "Wait List" means that I'm on a waitlist at my dealership. Therefore, the email is just reaffirming what we already know lol, cuz we're all on the waitlist. Meh :[

I also asked him if a VIN has been assigned yet, and of course "Not yet," was the answer
