Well, the Procede showed up today!

However, I have v1 of the ESC (no 3.5mm audio jack). The install video suggests contacting Rob for instructions, but his private message mailbox is full and I can't message him. Can anyone lend a hand?

You need to tap one of the controller wires going into the engine bay. You need to test them using a volt meter. I would recommend following the Miata install instructions to figure it out.

Is there a way to see the most up-to-date waiting list? I've only been on for a little over a month, but I'm curious to see how the list is progressing. I've read that a lot of people have bought other kits, are no longer interested, or have sold their cars.

My advice is to wait six months, then check. It's gonna be a long wait.

Indeed I'm expecting lead time to be 1 year out. Fortunately alot of people will not wait that long, etc. and a lot can happen in 6-12 mo.

I understand that it will be a long wait. I'm just curious and don't even know where to look for a list other than the list that was posted a dozen or so pages back.

A google docs spreadsheet would be nice.

Please PM Robftss, that is how the list is being handled for FRS. His inbox has been cleared down to my knowledge.

If you want to know your position in the list please PM me or him to find out. He isn't posting the exact list because it usually causes alot of drama.

Thanks!

The phantom would be suitable for twincharging as per the car manufacturers incorporating electric turbos to get rid of turbo lag. Using the procede controller with engine RPM and throttle position inputs, an appropriate map could be made to eliminate turbo lag and after the exhaust turbo is working, the phantom could perhaps free spin to save electricity.

Just need a built motor with big laggy turbo to try!!!!
Looks like VW and Audi will do it.

That's an interesting idea, since before with the on/off switch it wouldn't be as feasible. Have the ESC and the Procede build up to 5 psi until the turbo is ready, then have it recharge and spin just enough to not affect air flow.

I think you would need a bypass for the ESC, under it's own power you only get a max of 2psi at redline. If paired with a large turbo (= lots of flow at high rpm) It would become a restriction.
