If Nitrogen had any significant advantages, it would have been embraced wholesale by the trucking industry. Despite some dabbling with the technology, it has not been adopted as the status-quo.

Tells me everything I need to know about using Nitrogen in a street driven application

Not sure why this thread didn't get moved to the "Other Vehicle discussions" but my thread on how people park did.

Dem mods.

Back in the day we had bias ply tires. You could fill them with piss if you wanted and the handling was not impacted.

.......and ..... the bias ply tires had tubes in them. So, you could whack the hell out of a curb or bend the rim and they wouldn't go flat.

besides, the bias ply tires had some "meat" to them ...... they weren't "low profile".

If we wanted to lower the profile of the car ....... we lowered the car on the suspension ..... not by putting on skinny tires .........

And zero camber because if you went any different the tires would last about an hour.

One of those pulled up next to me as I was heading home from work the other day in the wee hours of the morning. I rolled down my window and gave him a nod, smile, and thumbs up. He responded the same.

Hope he didn't see me drooling...

I so wanted to do a clone of the Pharos's car from American Graffiti when I was a teenager. Could never find a 51 Merc though since everybody else wanted the same thing.

Or they just didn't know it when they typed up the ad and just never put it in. Not unusual to do that for the older cars. Mileage is meaningless on something like that anyway.
