You think it's that much better? Curious to see your results, esp with the 4.3.

Excited to hear your thoughts on the comparison between them.

Why would you want shorter gearing?

No, I don't think it is all that much better. I wanted the new car and various non-performance upgrades over my FRS, not necessarily because I thought it will be more competitive.

I don't, see above The gearing definitely has me worried, it will be a gamble, but we'll see. People thought the ND's were screwed because of their short gearing and look how they are doing now (I also drove one of those and it feels much shorter geared than the new BRZ).

Once I get some miles on the car, that is the plan, after a baseline dyno session of course.

The difference with the ND is that it doesnt have a longer gearing option.

ND performs well because it is much lighter than S2000, so it makes up for the gearing.

I was thinking ND vs Twins in CS comparison.

Anyways, I'll find out soon enough if the gearing works out or not and I'll let you all know

If it turns out to be way too short, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. It is still a nice upgrade from my FRS and lots of fun to drive

Me too! I'll be able to post an overlay of my stock FRS dyno graph versus this one, should be interesting to see. Couple weeks

Over 500 miles on the car now. Hoping to get to 1000 by end of the week so I can change oil and go get it dyno'd. We'll see though.

Losing a couple days of driving as I dropped it off at the shop for PPF, window tint, and black vinyl roof wrap.

I know im selling mine... well maybe selling mine but I just started looking at the 17 BrZ. Setups might be similar but I can think of a few things to try. Im really interested when they start tuning them, if they only got 5hp out of it with all the new bits on it that is fine, but who knows they may get more out of tuning it.
