PRI is definitely much more engineering oriented than SEMA and more "racer" oriented as well. SEMA is fun but kind of feels like a huge car show with every vendor ever (good and bad). Lots of neat stuff to see but you can get a lot more done at PRI. And we still have a good time.

I'll have to see if I'm going to have any 'fuel' left for a trip to Indi, or forgo SEMA altogether. SEMA is so damn draining. Way too much crap to sift through and all that walking...

Yeah SEMA is very draining. So much going on. PRI we usually have a business day and an exploring day and it's easy. Also cheaper. SEMA would take a couple of days to see everything and you'll be exhuasted (plus staying up all night partying most likely). We started with SEMA and it's cool to be "seen." We go every couple of years. PRI is for the nerds to some extent but also just an easier trip.
