I never hated on op. I just said get a tc it resembles more of the celica more then the frs does. Also all I did was ask him/her to explain their side. So how you find that as a slam is beyond me. I have no intentions on starting any arguments as I find them a waste of time.

Your comparing a celica to cars like an ap1. That just isn't the same car to me.
I'm a female...that's me in my pic...I hope no man would use the name cupcake for themselves...that would be pretty fruity....but I def don't think the celica resembles the tc at all in anyway...that thang is uglyyyy-Id rather drive a honda..so that's saying alot HA but I'm really picky when it comes to cars...If it was my choice Id have a sapphire blue supra with black interior...but due to age and condition I gave up that dream...tears...

You could have a world rally blue BRZ with black interior. The dark blue is pretty too, and probably closer to the supra's sapphire blue. Then talk to Full Blown and get the hp numbers up.

I think I like the darker blue of the fr-s and I like the front end a little better...but at this point I can't be to picky...I know the insurance is coming to get my car soon and I have to get one so I am not car less...I'm having a really hard time finding that ultra marine...Also would I be able to get 2 12's in that trunk if I had a custom made box?...it looks so small.

You could fit two 12's, but there wouldn't be a whole lot of room left for activities. Most fiberglassed trunk corner boxes are 10's, so if you wanted you could go a little bigger and put one in each corner.

Don't restrict your search to just local dealers. You might find what you're looking for outside the state.

I am def ok going out of state...A road trip would be fun!! If any one hears of one in their area please let me know!! I'm glad 12's will fit..I have two 15's right now so I don't even know what trunk space is...the only time I ever opened my trunk in the past 15 years ever was to check if I blew a sub...sighhhh I'm never going to grow up ha ha...

What AP1 are you even talking about?? I never said anything about an S2000. You must be a troll or just completely misinformed (to put it nicely) if you think a 7th gen Celica is a TC and an Integra is an AP1.

The Celica and the tC are perfectly nice cars but don't waste your energy arguing the merits of any FWD vehicle. Give it up.
No, FWD was not even the argument. The dude said the Celica is a fat pig, thus is like a TC. He's simply wrong as the facts show. FWD or RWD has nothing to do with it.

But since you bring it up, an Integra and Celica GTS FWD will post much closer times to the RWD FRS than a TC ever will. Like you said, there's no point comparing FWD to RWD, but even if you did the idea that the TC is closer to a Celica is still wrong.

I'm same in that I like the FR-S front better than the BRZ (always debate doing a front end conversion). But the blues... I suggest you see both blues in person (maybe at a local meet) before you buy. My very good friend's and mine:

Not sure of your budget but consider the upcoming OEM Audio+ SL Series. If you're in a pinch and need more cargo space, each sub can supposedly be removed quickly via 2 screws. Supposed to be around $4k in all. Forgot all it includes but should be all of the Reference kit, new rear speakers, all carbon fiber cones.

http://shop.oemaudioplus.com/86-FR-S-BRZ_c5.htm

I chatted with the OEM Audio+ founder at 86Fest. He claims he optimized the system for this car's acoustics using higher end DSPs without raping us on cost which custom shops would otherwise for those same DSPs. He also says everyone complains it's so expensive but he's a veteran audiophile and did his homework designing this (it's an example of you get what you pay for) and didn't hide that other custom systems can sound better when tuned (via component selection, not equalizer) to the specific music you listen to. His system is a middle ground for all music genres. Sales talk aside, I sat inside and it indeed sounded clean with deep hitting bass. I pointed out one rattle and he explained it was the 3rd brake light (can be fixed but they don't do extra modifications to their demo cars).

Their kit is literally OEM with a Toyota part number.

Oh gosh that looks so nice..how nice to have a trunk too!!! I wouldn't be able to afford the 4k...I def was not planning on getting a new car...plus I want SO MUCH...I already have a list of all the things I want to do to the car...I swear I am out of control...I just love how nice that looks tho...I like A LOT of bass...are those 10's or 12's? It's hard to tell from the picture..but I know I def want 12's...If I had the money I so would want that set up!!! I am very curious how the other blue looks in person...but I heard, and on here actually, people saying the insurance is less for the fr-s over the brz...that's why I never even looked into the brz...as a woman, you know, I like to save money where I can because I love to shop

Went back and read the whoooole thread. Here's me way before any argument...

Ok, Chen calls it an overweight-what?

Tell me again how FWD doesn't enter into this discussion?

I updated my previous post to include a pic of the blues and here's another:

Didn't know there was a significant difference in insurance cost... thought it might be more for FR-S since it would have more claims associated with it (by the sheer number of them out there). But if BRZs generally cost more to buy then I could see it costing more to insure unless you go for a Monogram or Release Series FR-S.

I'm not a huge audio person and not sure if 12s make a difference other than being able to claim you have 12s but the OEM Audio subs are 8" and sized right for the trunk, maybe even for acoustics. My buddy's 12 looked out of place in his FR-S making trunk space useless.

Also in that picture with the two OEM+ subs in it, it looks like that was taken with a Fish eye camera lens. Those tend to distort the actual dimensions of things to look "wider".

I would go check an OEM+ equiped car for yourself and see the trunk space. If you can live with it from what I've heard about it its a nice upgrade.
