So did you end up getting the used car for $28k at 4.99%, or did you and the dealer work something out?

Ended up paying that for the veh itself. Would have incurred thousands of dollars in expenses if I were to cancel the contract. The President of the dealer though really did want to try to work with me and did offer to resell the veh for me. However I still had to pay insurance on the veh, and basically give the 10k as a downpayment because the loan was approved and everything, but when they resold the car I would get all my $$ back. That being said though I would basically have to give all this money for a car I wouldn't have and be patient until they resold the veh. In time I might lose out on the opportunity to buy another vehicle as this is the time of the year when people are buying these sorts of cars.

In the end I figured it would be just less hassle to get the car as was presented and the President did say he'll do everything he can to ensure I'm happy whenever the car comes in for servicing so that's a bonus. In regards to the financing, Im just going to do my best to pay it all off asap because it is an open loan so I can pay it back without penalty.

My trusted local Toyota/Scion dealer offered me a NEW 2013 FRS for $25,554.

I bought a used '13 with 9K miles, one owner, clean carfax, for $21,000. I has balance of warranty, the first 7.5K service was done at a dealership, and there are 2 remaining free service/maintenance visits.

Sad to hear the scumbags won. If you actually have a 800+ credit score (I'm skeptical considering what I've read so far), better refi asap.

It's unfortunate I had to accept their price but I'm just going to work hard to pay off the car fast so I avoid paying too much interest. I'll look to refinancing perhaps in 6 months, see if I can get my rate down a bit.

Took the car for a spin yesterday and my oh my did it ever feel amazing! The car is now sitting in the dealer showroom until the snow melts then I'll officially take it home.

I may not been too pleased with how everything went down but I think in time I'll learn to accept it and just focus on enjoying the car. This car certainly gave me a huge smile when I saw it and finally when I drove it and it's because of that, you can't put a price on happiness

I'm glad you're happy with the car, but I'm really disappointed that they got exactly what they wanted.

& Before people chime in, they should realize that OP is from Canada.
Prices differ from the States!
