Hi All,
I am pleased to announce we have officially released the 200+whp E85 tune for NA stock setups (with and without Airaid Intakes). We have tested this on a couple customers vehicles, along with out own vehicle for probably longer then needed but we are very happy with the results over the three cars we tested. Also these tests were completed over a period of nearly 2 months to make sure the tune was consistent and reliable for all. So if you have any questions please ask. But we are now offering this tune to everyone and will also be offering this to our current customers who already have E85 tunes from us as a free upgrade. As an FYI, we have been testing a new setup that we believe will hit 200+whp on 91 octane, though it does require a couple parts on the vehicle. We have some final testing to confirm reliability and consistency before we release any more details on this setup. Cheers, William Knose |

I don't post much here anymore but I wanted to add something for those worried about a trace or footprint left behind by ecutek tuning..
I have been tuned since the beginning...well over a year now. I still take my car to the dealer for oil changes and service (although I follow my schedule, not theirs) and they are well aware that I have multiple maps for E85 and pump gas loaded. I've sat there with them and asked them to try and find a difference between my ECU and one that hasn't been flashed. They can't. Plain and simple. Could they pull the software and do a comparison side by side, line by line of code, and see that it was flashed? Sure, no problem. Are they going to do that?? Unless your ECU holds the missing coordinates of the Malaysia air flight or something extremely valuable don't flatter yourself, no one cares about your ECU at the dealer. Back on topic..great work! I would like to see this work duplicated on another 86 however. There are always engines that put down more power and less power off the line...I'm guessing you have one of the freakishly strong engines. When you pull another stock 86 and put down the same numbers I'll be a believer.

If only Aussie Dyno's worked this way haha
With stock cars putting down 130-140whp, 200+whp is going to be impossible without FI. FWIW, our E85 & exhaust cars are running around 170-190whp giving about the same in pure gain terms, although not as much as your peak figures of course. |

Stock cars put down 130-140whp on my Mustang too. Bills car put down 168 on my Mustang (pre Airraid intake install). The 168 was immediately after leaving the Dyno Jet (201). He made 176 with the Air Raid intake on my Mustang.
Run on a Mustang and you wont make the 200 numbers. Move to a Dyno Jet and you will. The power output is the same. It boils down to how the dynos calculate the numbers. Dynapak measures the power at the hub, Dyno Jet measires the power required to move a known weight, Mustang measures power at the ground (load resistance). Simplified explanation. |

We use dyno dynamics here mainly. As has always been said, the number isn't really whats important, its the before and after. on topic - still impressive for a tune only |

I can attest to this tune...it is awsome and feels so much better than stock. I know this car isn't a 1/4 mile car, but I managed a 14.3@97 w/2.2 60" with this tune and a FA20Club intake/muffler delete and some 245 Dirrezas. I honestly think it has a 13.99 in it the way it is..

On my Mustang we estimate a 20% increase over given power numbers for a Dyno Jet. 168 x 1.2 = 201.6 (Bills numbers from pulling back to back sessions on the local Dyno Jet and our Mustang). |

Sorry to go waaay off topic. Never ran e85. How does over cost per mile compare to 93 octane when factoring in much lower MPG? These numbers are the BEST i have seen and very interested. |
