Don't think all those are white. They look black, red, etc. if you look at the side of the cars instead. They must just be protected with some form of white plastic.

I looked at the street view around this area and I don't recognize the cars in these lots, but it looks like it might be the kei cars that were manufactured at the BRZ plant before they switched to BRZ production.

So based on this and Moto's post, I am guessing that this location is where the BRZ/FRSs were loaded, and now it is picking up some other cars at the Yokohama port. Now I feel like I am stalking this boat...
I believe if you look at the image date, they are from November 2009. Good thinking though!

I know that if I ever have my BRZ stolen, I can turn to this forum for help. By evening, I'll have the location of my car, the thief's address, and what he had for lunch.

But with this information glut, we're going to be dying during the two weeks while it's out in the Pacific and out of reach of open information like this. Only the transport company will know where it is.

Though I could be wrong and they could have always changed the tooling since the photos were taken (2009). I'm having a hard time digging up information on the area and bing doesn't have imagery at the same level of detail they did for the Tokyo harbor.
This is a RoRo ship. Roll on, Roll off. It's not built for containers.

They still ship containers on them at times.

Looks like it has left the port.
ETA is May 15th.

BALBOA (ETA 20120515120000)

This is listed just beneath the word "Cargo" on vessel details.
You can also see ETA here: http://marinetraffic.com/ais/shipdet...MMSI=432817000

The BALBOA is for the port, which is at/near Long Beach, CA.

Just FYI that link I said this in is broke:

Quote:
I'm definitely going to be clicking on this link an awful lot for the next two weeks
This is the correct link: http://aprs.fi/#!call=i%2F432817000&timerange=3600

Based on this it seems it's heading for BALBOA (ETA 20120515120000). Balboa port is down in Panama, it's most definitely not Long Beach :\

edit: beaten by dorkymork

Here's hoping they're making a stop in Long Beach on the way, maybe they're just going to a distribution center elsewhere. Though if it's the latter it brings out the ETA by a few weeks

edit: I hope dorkymork is right
edit2: hmmm. Either way, I trust Moto that a batch will be here within a few weeks, even if I got the wrong ship. Though the fact that it was at a Subaru warehouse / port is pretty damning evidence.
