Brett,

I've got the Scion manager's number (Karen K, right?). I called her a couple times, but haven't left a message. Let me know when the car comes in. I'd like to check it out. I have the first one at Dry Ridge Scion and I also got Whiteout manual. I was REALLY hoping I would get mine before May 25th so I could take it to Mid-Ohio with me when I'm up there coaching for 5 straight days!!!

Did any of you guys get the Bespoke Audio Option? I figured you guys were the first of the bunch so maybe this was explained to you but on the FR-S option sheet it looks like there is a SNS (Scion Navigation System?) and in brackets it says (Facebook / Twitter). I'm a tech junkie so curious if the nav has a Facebook / Twitter capability?

I wonder if the BRZ and FR-S nav units are equivalent. You'd sure hope so with the added costs?

From what I have read not very close. BRZ true Navigation. FRS Navigation compatible, I have even seen some posts of printed dealer information where it states its not Navigation...

That's what she told me at first too, but then I talked to her later and she said they were actually leaving today. I guess it doesn't really matter where it is. The important thing is it's not here

It's the Bespoke unit - gets all its nav data via your smartphone's data connection and GPS, no internal maps or GPS sensor. So you are constantly paying for real-time nav via your data plan. Equivalent of using car audio system as a hands-free phone via Bluetooth.

There are a couple of advantages to the system. One being that you'll always have the latest maps (and possibly traffic information) without having to pay hundreds of dollars. Another being that as the Zypr technology becomes more mainstream and more apps support it, you will be able to stream those apps to your radio.

Traffic info an advantage, map updates not so much, a $200 Garmin can be bought with lifetime quarterly map updates. Also note that currently only latest iPhones are supported, no Android or W8 models.

I think that means that when you start driving somewhere, it won't make the car stall or go in a different direction. Something like that....
