I'm talking about total MSRP before TT+L. If the car is 24,200 plus 700 for destination (pretty standard), you are paying 24,900 before TTL. That means you'll be walking out of the door with just a base FR-S for over 26k. Now do you see my concern? This does not bode well for the FR-S if the BRZ is only 1k more.

Even less. Its only $1000. But you only get leather seats and HID's I think.

Yeah I'm thinking $1500 ballpark myself.

Subaru's survey said 2,000-2,500 more...

I misread the post; I posted the difference between base WRX MSRP and INVOICE, not the difference between two trims.

I'm on the same side as you dude! $25K before TT&L was my point as well.

Magic and pixie dust can't be quantified by cost. Seeing is believing!

I completely hate the BRZ front end, but with the extras I put the "front end value" at about 1300. If the BRZ comes in within 1300 OTD of the scion I'll be getting it.

I was under the understanding that the FR-S would undercut the BRZ in the interest of appealing to younger buyers and selling a higher quantity. The Subaru was supposed to be "limited" and "rare". I don't think that will be the case anymore. I'm expecting a lot of scion guys to jump ship to Subaru. Who wouldn't want nav and hid for only 1k more? The 25 head units or whatever that scion is offering for the car means that an optioned FR-S could very well be MORE than a BRZ Premium unless the BRZ price ends up being much higher than we all expected.
