A while back I built a little module to open/close my garage door using a factory switch. I decided to pulse the wire twice to activate it. Now when I pull up to the house I can just rock my seat heater On-Off-On-Off and the garage will open/close. I liked the simplistic look of the OEM mirror and didn't like how big and bulky the Homelink mirror is. This was also $200 cheaper ...as promised, here is the video.

chad looking great man seriously. These kinds of great photos and stories make me think about the lip kits out there versus the skirt kits like Five Axis and so on. Keeping the stock bodylines is a nice feature about the lip kits IMO.

OK...Haven't updated my build for a while as I've been super busy lately but there's lots of new parts on my BRZ. First, for the stuff you can't see, I have installed a Nexus 7 on a Pro Clip mount for now while I do some testing. I have Torque dialed in using the bluetooth ELM327 adapter. So far, I really like the tablet so the next step will be building a motorized mount to hide it away while parked. I also received my Borla UEL this week (with warped flanges) so I haven't raced to put it on yet...maybe this week I'll get over to @FA20Club.com and have them install the header and also purchase the ecuTEK license/cable/tune.

On the exterior, I swapped the Carsmo Spoiler for the Zeta Performance CF spoiler and I also added the CF eyelids. Since they're small accents, I may just leave them all CF instead of painting portions like I originally planned. I will probably upgrade the unpainted BeatSonic roof spoiler to the CF version to match. The Zeta Performance parts look great but have some fitment issues for sure...seems to be a common problem with vendors rushing parts to meet the demand. I also installed the Perrin CatBack that finally came in and that was a seamless install with no problems at all. So far, Perrin has provided the best parts with zero issues at all. Wish I could say the same about the rest of the stuff I've purchased.

Here's a few updated pics...same location as the first pics I took of the car. It's an easy location as its at the end of my street.

I didn't adjust anything in PhotoShop so the images are straight from the camera to the forums...Maybe I'll play around with some of them this week. I need a better place to shoot nearby.
Holy crap, I missed a lot since I last visited your journal. Car looks absolutly stunning. I already love the blue color already, however you also managed to match it perfectly with the black accents. One of my favorit BRZ's out there. Also nice photography skills you have there :-)

Just stumbled across your build thread. You have done an amazing job! Your car is absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing. Its also great to see you wife taking part in your hobby. Mine is the same way and its the greatest thing. She goes to every car show with me, helps me wash it, and wrench on it. Its nice to have a good support system and somebody to share your passion and excitement with. Ok, enough sap...

Cheers,
Ian

That looks awesome Chad! haha almost like an airbrushed photo or design you'd see on a t-shirt. In fact if you took out some of the background (maybe leave in the palm trees) that would make an awesome t-shirt.
